Fantastic as always. This is the one place that my family can't drive past without stopping in to get a clam chowder bread bowl.

First time here, super yummy loaded chowder and discounted on Thursday! Love that they toast the center that gets cored out of the bread bowl. Friendly and quick service! Took a second to find seating but most people eat and leave quickly. Will definitely come back!

We will always come here when we visit. I grew up going here with my family and have continued on the tradition with my husband and kids.
We've dined in, gotten take out and used the website for a quick pickup.
The meal is always perfection, the same as back in the day. The bread bowls are great and a seafood topping is a must. The kids love the chicken tenders and fries.
Just always a great experience.
Friendly service as well!

In my opinion, the best clam chowder on the West Coast. Plenty of options for those who don’t like chowder too. Service is always quick despite how busy it can get. Definitely a must go to if you are in Pismo Beach!

Excellent clam chowder! 🤤 the clam chowder in the bread bowl was big enough to share with someone else. Can’t wait to return.

I guess it's just me. Maybe I've been spoiled by some really exceptional clam chowder, or maybe my tastes are just different than most, but I was really underwhelmed by the clam chowder here. Yes it was creamy, had an acceptable amount of clams and potato, but I found it completely bland. Maybe it needed more onions or black pepper or cognac or something, but it just had no flavor. Obviously I'm in the minority and the place is always packed, so go if you must since it's the touristy thing to do. Order up front, then good luck trying to find a table, they'll yell out your name when you order is ready.

We had fish and chips, bowl,of clamp chowder and one fish taco. I thought the clamp chowder was too salty, so not very good. The fish taco was too messy to eat. The fish and chip had thick breading - too thick for my liking.

Went for the clam chowder. It was not good. Tasted like too much seasoning of some kind. Very oniony. Not what I’d consider award winning. We’ll stick to Sam’s chowder house in half moon bay.

Came back recently for lunch and clam chowder still very good and worth the wait in line. The clam chowder does not have bacon inside. The fish and chips are a little salty for my taste bud. Calamari was perfect. They have restroom at the back. They also have counter at the back for Togo order

Been coming here for over 20 years and it's still the best clam chowder I've ever had
