About La Piñata

Based on the reviews, La Piñata is a real gem hidden away from daily traffic. The facilities are new and clean, and the staff is friendly. The food is always good. Some dishes are better than others; the flautas are very tasty and the salsa is good, but the chile Colorado is not good because the meat is tough. The street tacos are stuffed with lots of meat. The Sunday buffet breakfast/brunch had excellent, delicious food, though the trays were almost empty and the service was slow. The margaritas used to be great and made from scratch for Happy Hour, but now the glasses are much smaller and the drink is often served remixed from a container. The restaurant is very spacious with lots of seating, even when busy, and the service is always friendly, prompt, and attentive.
