50 Best Donuts near Placentia

“I personally don’t really eat sweets, but I often order donuts for kids’ parties and team events. Both kids and adults absolutely love MJ Donuts! Even when there are donuts from several different places, MJ’s are always the first to disappear.

The owner is also incredibly kind and generous, she often includes extra new flavors for us to try. Highly recommend!“

“I’ve been going here for the last couple months. The couple who own the shop are so sweet I love supporting them. I bring my friends here, their donuts are just as sweet as the goodness in their hearts. Personally I love the Buttermilk chocolate glazed donut and the cinnamon sugar donut, they have really good smoothies and great prices. A donut is about 1.95 and a dozen I believe is 17 unless you get special donuts. They have a wide variety of drinks too and all at great prices. If you go here you’ll love it. It might not seem as I described but after a while it will. I come in about 3 times a week and the kind owner calls me dear. Once me and my friend came in and paid in change and she helped us count without complaint.“

“I would go to war for K&M donuts. They are easily much tastier than every chain donut you could think of, and I have yet to discover a better local donut shop. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is so yummy that I often look forward to drinking it the night before I decide to visit them on my way to school in the morning. It is also family owned by a lovely couple who are always so kind to all of their customers.

They also recently added a selection of breakfast sandwiches to the menu, which is great for anyone looking for a more serious option than a donut. My personal favorite item is a cinnamon twist croissant thing that I can't find anywhere else. They are also the only donut shop that consistently has nice, fluffy cake donuts instead of harder ones.

If you live locally, it is worth waking up early to eat the donuts here.“

“Solid crumb donut, and the giant crumb donut cake is worthy as a celebratory birthday, anniversary, or just because cake. Call in advance to place your order. Another star item was an apple pie like bread pudding (unsure of the name) displayed in the window. I look forward to returning to try the apple fritter.“

“If you are looking for unique goodies to satisfy your sweet tooth, this is definitely the place to go! I first experienced Sockerbit in NYC, and had to stop at the CA location. There are a ton of different candies to choose from, and each one is so delicious and different than typical American candies. Make sure to try the sour skulls!“

“Hands down BEST donuts ever! Great family story, best ingredients, homemade syrups, homemade glazes, made fresh to order. We will be back when visiting again from Pennsylvania!“

“Just visit it friendly donuts. I ordered the crème brûlée donuts. It was fantastic and the chai tea I recommended to anyone who loves good donuts.“

“These donuts are on the way to El Paso, Texas… Great service this morning!“

“Best donuts in OC

The French Donuts = Bomb.com

This is the donut shop yo mama warned you about

You don’t want these donuts. You need these donuts

My girlfriend said I had to choose between her and these donuts

* Ex-girlfriend“

“Hole in the wall mom and pop shop vibes. Run with excellent, prompt service and quality food and drinks. Don't let the rough exterior fool you, they do breakfast correctly. We went with a big group on a road trip out of town and we were able to try a lot of things as a group. Everyone was very happy. It's not flashy but that's ok it's not trying to be. They just serve good food and drinks, they know who they are serving. Regular folks on the way to work.

I personally got a egg/cheese/bacon croissant, a hazelnut black coffee and was very satisfied.“

“Most amazing breakfast anywhere and prices are great. Its our new go to breakfast place. The food is fresh and coffee made to order. We have been going there for years now. Love it!“

“If you love zombies you will love the vibe here.
This mother daughter duo do the dang thing. They have vegan options available. I recommend the death by chocolate doughnut and anything filled. They doughnuts have a cute and scary vibe and worth the visit.“

“Jean is so sweet and I had to let her know I took a photo with her signage because I'm also a Jean (and vegan). I mean I have to get donuts here if I'm in the area even if I'm not hungry, right? She sent us home with extra donut holes. I'm a sucker for the custard filled Boston creme 😋“

“this place has the best boba & donuts ever & the owners are SO SO SO sweet! we come here everyday“

“The donuts AMAZING, best I have ever tried hands down! I have tried the croissant sandwiches as well and they are delicious. The service was great, lovely people. The atomosphere is very well maintained just a bit old fashioned, nothing wrong with it just not my cup of tea as a Gen Z. But that’s probably what brings comfort to their daily consistent customers. I could stop recommending this place!“

“I've been to a lot of donut shops and I've got to say this place is one of my favorites so far. The customer service is fast and friendly. Not to mention they have a wide variety of donuts to choose from which include giant donuts too. My personal favorite is the spicy breakfast croissant so I highly recommend it.“

“Went looking for a great donut spot and this is by far the best one I’ve found. Definitely recommend and not too expensive.“

“Went to pick up some doughnuts I bought ahead of time. There is classic doughnuts and cool frosting ones. I ordered a coconut drink and asked for it to not be super sweet. I can't even imagine what the sweet option is because when I tried it my teeth hurt from the taste of sugar and to boot it looks like it has whipped cream on top. I asked for bday doughnuts and they came out so pretty. Birthday boy will love them.“

“What a find. Mom and Pop shop with the best breakfast burritos I’ve had! Friendly, welcoming and with the true vibe of a small business that cares. The donuts were excellent as was the coffee. We ate in and regulars were filing in getting their morning coffee and breakfast. These places are hard to find close to big corporate giants like the Mouse. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito, a sour cream donut and cup of cafe con leche. Wife got a ham, egg and cheese burrito, sugar donut and cafe con leche. All excellent!“

“So amazingly good! Traveling from San Antonio, I needed something delicious and this place hit the spot!!!“

“Everyone without 1 mile radius wants $20+ for assorted dozen. ?! What? ... called $17.99. Has them packed and ready when I arrived. Plus 3 beautiful smiles waiting with A1 customer service. This is the only place I'm going in Buena Park for donuts !!“

“Always stop by on my way home from work ❣️ friendliest people no matter what time it is🍩☕️“

“Absolutky hands down without a doubt the VERY BEST donut shop in Orange County.. possibly the world! Always fresh, prices are fair, and the service is top notch! This place is a Tustin icon i've been getting myself and my family donuts here for over 30 yrs and ive never had an experience anything short of perfect! A+++

Oh and if your in a hurry or dont want to get out of your warm car on a cold morning they have a drive through window.“

“This is the greatest little donut shop ever. these donuts are what a donut should be. Light, fluffy moist and so tasty. I don't know what they do different but it is better than the usual donut. And the prices are typical donut prices not the higher priced for specialized or premium donut shops.
We used to live in the neighborhood around the shop and took it for granted. Now that we have moved out of state, We have found there is nothing quite like A&A donuts. We stop every opportunity when we visit the area. Any of our friends and neighbors who travel to the area (Disneyland, Knotts, L.A....) we tell them its worth the trip to grab donuts here.. And they all agree!!“

“The cutest little coffee shop. The food is always fresh and delicious. Their coffee is probably the best I have ever had. I can never drink black coffee but the coffee they sell is heaven itself. The service is very good! I've been going there ever since I was a little kid and no other coffee shop could ever take Sy's place! DEFINITELY recommend this coffee shop!“

“This place is amazing. Their donuts are so good and the sandwiches are my favorite item on the menu. Especially the number 3. It's very filling and amazingly tasty. The people who work here are also very nice and make an effort to keep the place clean. I will always prefer this place over any other donut shop.“

“Love this gem and so glad it has stayed for so many years...always fresh, and warm donuts. Been going there for 13+ years and so refreshing to see the same people.Their donuts are beyond a doubt the best I have had anywhere. Try for yourself and you won't regret it :)“

“Decided to check this place out early morning and there was already a line at 6:20 on a Saturday. Have not tried the donuts yet but they look amazing. I also got the roast beef sandwich on croissant and she asked me if I wanted jalapeños which, of course I did. The best part is I was going to put the dozen donuts in my car and before I can even get out the door, she already have my sandwich ready. It definitely has that old-school feeling and the sandwich was on point. Next time I am in Anaheim. It’s a must to hit this place again. Walked out spending $27 on a bakers dozen which is 13 donuts and a roast beef sandwich. Absolutely amazing and the people are fantastic so inviting.“

“The donuts are incredibly good and tasty . Each one is different but tastes delicious i recently tried their new matcha menu the strawberry one and it was AMAZING . The strawberry and matcha alone tasted so good. I recommend this place for a quick tasty breakfast.“

“I've seen this place many times but never stopped. I went to my usual places. Today I went in before going to an event close by and bought a dozen mixed and 1 ham/cheese croissant. My friends gave the donuts a rave review. I'm giving and ham and c cheese croissant a 5star as well. The ladies were friendly to my little 5 year old wild companion and provided great service. I'll be back for sure!! I didn't get a picture but I will next post.“

“OMG! Best Mochi Doughnut in North Orange County!! First time trying Mochi Dough and my tastebuds were in YUMMY sensory overload. Did not have enough time to take a picture of the scrumptious six flavors because I was too busy having a Mochi~gasm and then there were no more. I didn’t get any! LOL

“Donuts and beyond! Vanessa and Daniel are very attentive to their customers. No wonder so many people come here! Donuts, breakfast, lunch, coffee, natural juices! Everything is amazing! Every time I'm in the area it's a must stop for me! I have zero complaints and would recommend 100%“

“Absolutely Outstanding! 👍

D’s Donuts is hands down the best donut shop I’ve ever visited! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuinely lovely atmosphere. The service was exceptional—Sophia and a gentleman (whose name I didn’t catch) went above and beyond to make my visit memorable.

The shop was impeccably clean, which added to the overall satisfaction of the experience. I’ve been to countless donut shops, and none compare to the level of kindness, attention to detail, and customer care I received here.

And of course, the donuts were incredible—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect treat! If you’re looking for great donuts paired with fantastic service, D’s Donuts is the place to be. I can’t recommend it enough! 🫡“

“Our favorite donut shop! Blueberry donut is my favorite, and my kiddos love the donut holes. The man and woman who run the shop are so kind and always a pleasure to see in the mornings. I’d definitely disregard the negative review about her, she was so kind to my 2 year old daughter and gave her a “High-5” through the plastic protector. All around great place and would totally recommend!“

“Love this place! No mater where I move to I always come back for an ice mocha and the costumer service is great.“

“Number #5 all day. Homeboy's daughter, mad fly.🤩“

“The lady who served us was very kind and lovely; I love this place. I stop by every day and always buy even just a coffee,—if there’s one thing I value, it’s good service—and, on top of that, the donuts and coffee are delicious.
I recommend this place; you’re guys going to love it.“

“I like that coming to buy a sandwich here, they are very good and tasty, I really tell you and their very particular attention, they are very friendly. I have been coming here for years and they always treat me very well. The sandwiches are very tasty.“

“Jennie is amazing! We no longer live in California but come here every time we are back visiting because they genuinely are some of the best donuts we’ve ever had and Jennie is always so friendly, kind, and thoughtful. We absolutely love the donuts, they are such an amazing deal, and we will continue to visit in all the years and travels to come! ♡“

“So far it’s the best donut shop I’ve tried. I get the plain cake donut and you can tell the oil they used is not old. Husband usually doesn’t like donuts, but liked their old fashioned glazed donut. Definitely coming back!“

“Love this place! My wife and I will never replace this place, it was hard to find a good spot with good donuts in Santa Ana.
