“Just stopped by ST Donut and got some fresh donuts for my daughter. I've been taking her here since she was in a stroller for the last 5 years. The couple that works here has been working for 23 years 7 days a week open to close except for major holidays. They do not take days off and you can definitely see the fatigue on some days... My daughter always says loudly "Hi Auntie! Hi Uncle!" when she comes in and they always smile and happy to see her. She loves the rainbow sprinkled donuts, but would try the Chocolate bars and maple bars as well, and she would always get a couple donut holes. She also prefers the cheap chocolate milk to her fancy Horizon chocolate milk at home. She just recently tried the strawberry and cream croissant and she's been asking for it every time we've been coming. This is a CASH ONLY establishment like alot of Asian restaurants. Credit cards charge fees and Auntie doesn't want to charge more for people using credit cards or raise the price of the donuts. Most of her customers are high school kids and regulars that know it's cash only, no one needs to be financing a donut anyways. Running a business is hard, especially when covid shut down the schools and businesses which was their main clientele. They work really hard, I would say they work harder than most of us so if she is a bit snappy, try working 7 days a week for 23 years and see how jolly you are. If you haven't tried them, stop buy and grab a donut or croissant. Their ham cheese and jalapeño is my favorite or you can get a sprinkle donut like my daughter. Nothing fancy, just the kind of donuts we grew up with.“
“The donuts here are AMAZING. I usually have morning classes so I'll go get a glazed donut and it's by far the best. I've also tried their ice coffee which is a solid 9.5/10 depending on the sweetness. Overall, the workers here are super nice too!“
“I bring donuts to work sometimes and used to switch between several donut shops but I started getting requests that I bring donuts from K&M only. Of course I had to comply. The quality of the donuts is really good. The donuts are exactly how they're supposed to be, every time. The raised donuts are always light and fluffy. The old fashions are flaky and not doughey. The glaze is the right amount, vs some places that use too light of a touch. The service is always very friendly. In the morning, everyone there seems to be regular customers. That's probably the best indicator of a A+ donut shop.“
“I haven't bought donuts in a few years, but decided to stop by and get some for my coworkers today. I was surprised a Dozen of their "special" donuts cost almost $20. I remember being able to get a dozen donuts for like $12-15. Donuts were tasty and tasted fresh and there was a mix of a lot of different types, but im still kind of shocked how expensive donuts cost now.“
“Glazed and non glazed blueberry donuts are to damn good! And don't get me started on the hot breakfast sandwiches, they're made to order and all of them are so good, The service is always super quick and they always have a smile on their face. The shop is always clean, and they're always tables available to sit at, I 100% recommend giving this small shop a try“
“If you miss Luther/Donut Burgers, you can substitute a glazed donut for a burger bun on the burgers here. Fries are extra crispy, but yummier than expected.Presentation for dining in could be improved. Our burgers and sandwiches were handed to us in take out bags like donuts, which made dining in a little messy.“
“My favorite was the butter pecan donut. I loved the donuts in general, they were different than typical donuts, more fluffy and airy. I didn't like them super fresh out of the fryer since they tend to be a bit oily, liked them when they sat for about 15 minutes. Not a big time difference but a big taste difference.“
“This place is really great. Affordable and adorable. Reminds you of mama's kitchen. The pastries are truly keto friendly but also great for those who don't like their pastries overly sweet. As a person who is diabetic I highly enjoyed it. The muffin top, tres leches, and the pecan Sandie is delicious. The staff is amazing their amazing. “Best classic donuts I've had in awhile. Texture and sweetness level is spot on! From cake to raised to old fashioned, MJ does them all perfectly. It was so good we came back the next day to buy more. Auntie who helped us is so so kind and sweet to us. It's a Yorbalinda community staple for a reason!“
