Small little place tucked in back of building. The place is quaint and has a nice atmosphere.
Seating outside is on a very small patio with a trickling creek underneath it. Inside is small and crowded.
Thw waitress was great how ever the other staff could care less.
During our wait I noticed homeless under the patio along the creek walking off the hwy and going under the building. Nice...
Took 1 hour and 15 min to get our order. During this time the mosquitoes are out in force that evening.

The table beside us waited well over an hour and 45 minutes for their meals.
Our food was OK at best. My Wife ordered some kind of lemon chicken that was overpowered by lemon. I had a Shrimp and Linguine plate that was below standard.
The dining experience was Pricy for such poor service and basic standard dishes.

I feel the staff should be more tentative to their customers ... when staff walk by somebody's table and their glasses are constantly empty, maybe refill them.
Ask if they need anything else instead of just dropping their food off and walk away and forgetting what was asked fire. My wife never got a refill on her wine. Asked but not received.

The staff Standing near the kitchen BS'n with each other and playing on ur phone isn't a good look while the Waitress is busting her ass trying to stock, manage tables and get things going.
Management should really look into hiring decent staff and a decent cook.

Great food, friendly service excellent one. You can’t see it from the street, but this is way worth the work.

It’s like you’re in Italy. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. Be sure to get a spritz, they make the best in the world!

What a wonderful experience this was. The food was awesome and the service is stellar. Great pairing with the Sangiovese wine and lasagna. Mmmm!

Food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was great. What drove the review down was the time of service. It took just over 2 hours just to have dinner for two people. I think I over heard that the owner was out of country and there was one server and one bus boy. They were too overwhelmed, and should have not have opened. The poor couple next to us got completely forgotten about, and sat there for over 30 minutes before even getting their order taken. It seems like the regulars were more important than the others. The bus boy could have stepped in and helped out the server more rather than standing around. I will have to retry this place next time we go to Placerville to change or review.
For accessibility, the wheelchair fit in, but it was a tight fit. We got put in the back corner, and when we went to leave, people had to get out of their chairs and move them to let me by.

Tucked in the back of Creekside Place on Main St. this place is a hidden gem. Authentic Italian dishes, some that you will not find at other restaurants. The owner is very sweet and engaging. Best gnocchi I’ve ever had.

Outstanding rehearsal dinner - full antipasto buffet, 5 main courses, followed by dessert buffet. Beautifully presented, and the real thing. My last trip to Italy included a Michelin starred restaurant. Amore Mio’s cuisine topped the Michelin experience!! Italian owner and waitstaff were superb. Highly recommend!!

I didn't stay inside but just waiting for my food to go it was a good experience, It was nice the people were so friendly and so courteous and fast getting my order I got home and I ate it I'll tell you what now that I know where it is I'll be hitting it again in the future.

Our dining experience was just amazing. An excellent wine list with a fine choice of Italian wines. The service was excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. The food, delicious. A lovely evening!

Every meal had been amazing, one bad serving of calamari, tasteless. Servers are always racing but take the time to give good service. Atmosphere is quirky decor..tight floorplan, highway noise especially outdoor deck. With all that said- we keep going back because the food is so good
