Unfortunately, not all dishes were good. Calamari was tasteless and the salmon in some orange-flavored sauce was impossible to eat. I sent a full plat back (a $32 dish). Overall, some good food like chicken Marsala and the clams in red sauce, plus pasta with meatballs, but some big letdowns.
I’m writing this review on the drive home. That’s how wonderful our meal was. Delicious elevated Italian food. Not since Biba’s closed have we had such wonderful Italian food. The artichoke beignets were an amazing starter. The braised beef raviolio in a fabulous creamy tomato garlic sauce was one of the best Italian dishes I’ve ever had. We we definitely be returning.
Food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was great. What drove the review down was the time of service. It took just over 2 hours just to have dinner for two people. I think I over heard that the owner was out of country and there was one server and one bus boy. They were too overwhelmed, and should have not have opened. The poor couple next to us got completely forgotten about, and sat there for over 30 minutes before even getting their order taken. It seems like the...
