Update: They really are using old donuts now. Just bought some and they weren't fresh. Showed up at 0630. Really sad. Used to be a good spot.

Used to be good, but quality is very poor now...seems to be selling old donuts as if they are fresh..they are NOT!!. Frosting is so thin, can't taste it. Whe ordering online, they make substitutions without consent, giving donuts that DON'T like (Maple donuts ate disgusting & are NOT equal to Chocolate...NOT a good substitution). This place is terrible..don't waste your money or time.

On the grand donut scale, with A-Players being Randys and Sidecar in LA, and Blue Star in Portland; the B-players being my ‘brother in laws’ donut shop in northeast Ohio, Buckeye Donuts in Columbus, and Voodoo in Oregon; this place would be a ‘C-‘ to D player.
Placerville and this part of EDC deserve better. The folks are very nice, the donuts not so much.

I went there to bring donuts to a friend who was shut in and not able leave his home. When I mentioned this, they gave me the donuts I ordered, plus 2, because they said I have a good heart. These people also have a good heart and some amazingly good donuts.
