We tried the Trisket and the PBLT sandwiches, and honestly, they might be some of the best sandwiches we've ever had! Totally worth the drive from Woodland. The flavors were delicious, the ingredients fresh, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a fantastic bite!

Today, they launched a new menu item.
The CHILI MAC BOWL w/ choice of meat. Get the Trisket. It was delicious.
Kit, made the most amazing bowl of chili, just intime for the cold snap.

1. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was not inviting. It was a very small dining area, dark and cramped. The tables that were in there were all really close together.
2. Availability: All the seats and tables were empty with the exception of two that were occupied. The open tables all had signs on them saying they were reserved at 5:00 p.m. We were looking around and thinking okay we obviously can't eat here because there is not a single open table.
3. Reservations? It was after 5 pm at this point and the tables were still empty. Shouldn't some of those tables been opened up?
4. Store hours: Why would they advertise the restaurant as open to the general public if they were not going to have anywhere for customers to sit. We waited there for like 5 to 7 minutes for help then decided to leave because we realized there's nowhere for our family to sit and eat. We heard some guy yell out something when we went outside the door leaving. We don't know if he was trying to talk to us or not but it didn't matter because we already decided we were going elsewhere.
5. Customer service: An employee chased us out while we were getting ready to get into our car to ask us if they could help us. What in the world? They weren't asking us if we needed help while we were standing in the restaurant! But as soon as we're about to leave in the parking lot they come out an offer assistance? Makes sense out of that.

10/10! Customer service was a phenomenal and so friendly. Chicken fell right off the bone. Mac n cheese was full of flavor. Potato salad was great. Beer was ice cold and very crispy delicious! From out of town but will absolutely crave this experience!

A vegetarian who hates beer walks into a brewery bbq place. Probably not a great idea but when you're with a group of people you go with the flow.
The guy working helped me pick out what to drink and eat. I had a guava seltzer heavy on the guava and it was AMAZING, I like that you can control how much flavoring is added.
I ordered mac n cheese to eat and it was pretty good too.
I may have to come back with my meat eating beer drinking husband.

The best thing about Geartooth is the variety of beers that are all exactly what you want them to be. You cannot go wrong ordering anything from their rotating menu. This is a family-run business that has grown to cater to what their customers want, sticking to what they know best while giving people what they want. Did I say their beer is the best in town?

I had a nice tri-tip that was pretty good. The non-good bet choices included a Märzen and a Hefeweizen, with very distinctive tastes. Recommended.

Really good food and craft beer

This place was absolutely phenomenal. We stopped on a whim and on the way to Tahoe. The beer was great, the owner(s?) were great, and the barbecue put some of our local east coast fronts to shame. Thank you for the hospitality.

Tried the double IPA Cogzilla, and was very satisfied with the smoothness of the beer, I'll be back to sample the others very soon.

Stopped in on the way to Tahoe looking for a brew after working up in Rescue. This spot of brews and bbq is amazing. Family owned and family working. The brews all in house are very good. They make their own dipping sauces and Kit knows all the spices and food. The food tho is excellent. In house smoke. Their trisKIT and jalapeno poopers are some of the best I have had in a while. Pork belly rub is on point. They are having their one year mark and have different awards to prove it.Recommended for sure.
