We've never been disappointed the menu and service is excellent . Just after a couple of visits they remember our favorites. We now take our grandson once a week he loves to dine there as well.Fully recommend them for a wonderful meal.
Favorite Chinese food in Placerville. Excellent portion sizes, some entrees better than others, hot and sour soup is my favorite there. Wish they were open on Mondays! Staff is always so friendly even when coming in a little late. Perfect take out!

Just discovered this gem in Placerville! Mu shu shrimp and Salt & Pepper Pork Chops are my favorite with Garlic Green Beans. Yummy! A big second and my families' favorite is the Sweet &Sour Pork! Delicious sauce over crispy pork. Hot tea and a glass of water with lemon slice!!! Didn't even have to ask for it. Very friendly and served each dish as it was finished cooking so food was hot! Big plus for me. Will definitely be back. Try it and you will agree!

Aside from the excellent Mongolian beef, Honey shrimp, Chicken chowmein and hot n sour soup, we got a special surprise this visit. Because it was the Chinese New Year, the owner was handing out cash! Who does that??? You all are missing out if you are not making Grand China a regular go-to for great food and ambiance.

There are several Chinese restaurants that we patron between Cameron Park and Pleasant Valley......Grand China is our favorite. Either on the phone or walking in, the customer service is prompt, friendly and welcoming. Our usual is pork fried rice, orange or general chicken and pork chow main. All are delicious. Their walnut shrimp, egg foo young is also a winner. Today I ordered their hot and sour soup. Filled with tofu, mushrooms, bamboo shoots and other vegetables and egg. It had a nice spice to it and a good flavor.

The lunch specials are a huge steal! 10 plus change for a huge plate of food and soup. The setting is delightful with a crystal chandelier and oriental trinkets well placed. The restaurant is neat, tidy and cheery. But the star is the lovely plate of traditional type American Chinese food with steamy won ton soup. Give it a try.

Found this little gem when I was when in Placerville for the day and will always make a trip when I’m wanting Chinese food They have fast service and amazing food. Love the wonton soup and cream cheese crab ragoons and the crispy orange chicken. You will Not be disappointed eating here amazing food and portions as well.
