( POOR FOOD QUALITY)We came here for my father’s 67th birthday. I ordered the calamari and sirloin steak. The calamari tasted alright but tasted like it could’ve been old my sirloin steak was absurdly horrible I’ve never tasted such a dryed out flavorless steak that was cooked medium rare it was really hard to chew, my father ordered the filet mignon and order it well done however the overcooked the steak and it was also dryed out and hard to chew. I complained to the waitress about the food and she spoke with the Manager that was supposed to give us a 20% discount on the food however we did not get that discount after checking the receipt after we left . The service was good the food was horrible you definitely don’t get what you pay for here, we will never be coming back and based on the other reviews this is not a one off

First visit here for my husband's birthday. Quiet and clean establishment (you would not know you are in a busy casino). Prompt, friendly service and excellent food. We will be back.
The waitress argued with me on the butterfly cut I wanted and said it wasn't possible. I explained I got it that way all the time there. She finally went and asked the cook and he said he could do it. The creme brûlée was watery.
The online photos present Henry's Steakhouse and bar as warm, inviting and intimate. With that in mind I was willing to pay the price. The bar is open to the casino which is bright and noisy, taking the intimate vibe away from the experience. The dining room is also to well lit for your dining experience to feel special and intimate. Felt like any another restaurant. The food is excellent. Our waitress, Hannah was attentive, inquisitive and well informed about the meal.
To start, when we arrived the lighting was far from dim. When I asked about the ambiance, I was told the bulbs had just been changed, and an apology was offered for how bright it was. One server initially greeted us and was very kind. Shortly after, another staff member brought bread and water, but his demeanor was awkward and lacked any warmth. More concerning, the glasses were filthy—lipstick on the rim and food residue inside. When we pointed this out, he apologized and explained that their dishwasher has broken three times since December and that the dishes are not being cleaned very well, which was extremely off-putting. When we asked about the lemonade, we were told it was Tropicana, so we ordered unsweetened iced tea instead. Despite this, lemonade was brought to the table, and the server appeared irritated when we explained that we had not ordered it. An Old Fashioned was also ordered and arrived in an incredibly small glass—the ice sphere inside was larger than the glass itself. It genuinely looked like a shot glass. We ordered a steak, shrimp scampi, and another entrée. Unfortunately, my shrimp scampi arrived completely cold—the noodles and shrimp were both cold. While it was removed from the bill, which was appreciated, the overall experience was a major disappointment. For a bill exceeding $200, the ambiance, service, and food were unacceptable. It felt like a Denny's-level experience at fine-dining prices. Overall, just awful.
Our service was WONDERFUL! I ordered the prime rib and it was not good. I'm not one to complain especially since our waitress was so sweet. My husband got the NY and he felt like it was average. Our wedge salad was good, loved the tempura asparagus. We were overall very disappointed in our meal. We do love Henry's so we will go back. Hopefully, next time it will be better.
We had a party of 5 and we were put in a pretty small table. It was very difficult to get all the plating on the table. Kind of a bummer since we made the reservations quite a while ago. Two of our party tried the lobster bisque and clam chowder . Both soups were just warm. Prime rib was great.
We have been happy every time we visited. The steaks were cooked to our request. The prime sirloin is excellent. The short ribs are a show stopper. The rib eyes have been great. The tomahawk rib eye is massive. The meat comes from kings meat. The mashed potoes are whipped to perfection. The wedge salad is to die for! Lol. This coming from not a salad guy. The dessert are delicious. Happy costumers. We will be back soon.
Tried Henrys to see if they had a decent Ribeye...it was so tough, could hardly chew it! So expensive too! Not doing this again!! Go to Sutter Steak House for a real Ribeye!

I ordered the scampi dish and it was a disappointment. Very poor quality of pasta. I felt like the chef just threw the food on in a hurry. Pasta was very hard. The waiter was super nice and pleasant.

We were expecting more intimate. It was too bright and loud. Food was ok. Lobster tail was great but the filet mignon was a little over cooked. Clam chowder was excellent!
Service was subpar, as they seemed understaffed. My food was made incorrectly, and it took over 25min to come out so I just cancelled the order and paid for appetizer and drinks. Crab cakes were really good, but the drinks were not, I would not purchase alcoholic beverages from here again. I would try them again as I do not want to write them off for one bad experience
The wines are cheap wines selling at an expensive amount. The food was horrible. We ordered a side salad that came during the meal. I ordered the Shortribs and they were dry. I had to put allot of sauce on it to moisten it up. My friends steak was medium rare. However , the steak was burnt on the outside and that was all you could taste. No, we did not ask to take it back cause it took long to get our food. We informed the waitress of this and she apologized. We did get the salad comped.
The quality of the steaks were disappointing. The presentation of the entire meal was also disappointing. Looked like a bunch of stuff shoved onto one small plate at a buffet. The French onion soup was too salty. The side veggies and "crispy onions" were too soggy and lacked crunch and flavor. I barely touched my plate and I didn't want to take the leftovers upstairs to my hotel room. Even the complimentary bread was extremely dry and fell apart when I grabbed it. The only two things that were edible was the mashed potatoes and the calamari. Other than that- I would NOT suggest this place to anyone that's craving great quality of food for this price. Go next door to Pearls Chinese restaurant for a better experience. They say they offer anniversary celebrations here but they do not. I first hand experienced that last night. They do not try to make it special so I would suggest going elsewhere to spend that special day at. Upon booking, I booked it as an anniversary celebration on Open table and when I checked in with the host, they asked if there's a special occasion we're celebrating and I said Anniversary. When I was leaving the restaurant, I asked the hostess if they do anything special for anniversary's and she stated that they give a complimentary slice of cake. Well, that's something | did not get.
I generally do not make recommendations for products or services, but Henry's Stake House is my exception. The restaurant is an excellent facility for a romantic dinner. The room is relatively small, and quiet and services was excellent. We arrived at our reservation time and were immediately escorted to our table. While I do not recall our server's name, she was excellent. The food was exceptional! Yes, I generally do not make recommendations for goods or services, but I will make a 5-star recommendation for Henry's Stake House!! Sincerely Earl Maciel
