Food tasted immaculate. Took about 49 minutes to be seated while we waited outside in the cold, after ordering waited another 20-30 minutes for the food to come out, I did expect a little more food for the price but portions were not that bad. Definitely will be coming back

We love all of their meats just as they are cooked and do takeout. I need to find out where they get their meats. Like, are they local farms, pasture raised, and free of GMOs.
Had the lovely experience of working with Mary & Hog Wild for my August 2024 Wedding. They were a dream to work with the entire time, so kind and helpful throughout the process and delivered some incredible food the day of! We had appetizers, a charcuterie board, their buffet and their dessert table. Some highlights were the brisket, jalapeno poppers, mac & cheese, and carrot cake.
Everyone enjoyed their food so much, many went up for 2nds and then they boxed up all of the leftovers (there were tons!) we had people over the next afternoon to help us finish with everything!
They are also very budget friendly!!

We ordered a family pack for 4. Brisket and the ribs were good, the mac n cheese was ok. The kids didn't really like it and kids always love mac n cheese. Corn bread and butter was really good.

Stopped in for a brisket sandwich. Meat was melt in your mouth tender with unbelievable flavor! Very busy but service was quick with little wait time. Staff very efficient and friendly. we just found a new favorite go to when traveling through!

Idk, maybe I got an old batch, but the brisket was so dry. I did like the flavor profile with its peppery bark. Just wished there was just a tiny bit of juice. It was a little hard to swallow. Chicken was no different. Spare ribs were good, a little sweet and peppery. I ate at around lunch time on a weekend so I was hoping things would be fresh. Don't eat outside at the patio. Too many flies. I will say the service and staff are awesome.

The food is good !! The only thing is I drove from South Sacramento to try this spot and I arrived at 2pm and I was told they ran out of pulled pork and chicken I was disappointed in that since I drove far The price I think it’s a lot for what they give you The hype was too big I would off liked a little more meat for my buck .

Very popular so come early on weekends for best selection. Staff friendly and helpful. Pulled pork sand is generous but a tad dry for my taste. Mac cheese side really is tasty unlike most out there. Reasonable pricing. Nice stop for lunch before you head up into the hills.
