One of my favorite wonton soups I've ever had! They are fairly priced and very fast service.

Service is good but fried rice undercooked some rice being more crunchier as if they mixed older rice with newer undercooked rice and the chow mein noodles were also undercooked. Win tons in soup had to sit a bit in hot broth to softer but they were also a little undercooked as well but were good as they sat in broth. Each time I visit Placerville, I like to bring my four grandkids to eat here but this will be our last visit. This experience happened around 12:45 on a Saturday afternoon.

I got a to-go order late in the day. I live far (around 2hr drive) and just grabbed it to eat at home. When I got home i notice about half my order was missing. I deceide to call the next day since it was about closing and I wouldnt even make it in time. Well the next day the person on the phone was rude, “pulled up my order” but it wasnt and said she would find the ticket and call me back and never did. Food was mediocre. Wont be going again, if the rest makes a mistake ur just out of luck and they treat you like trash.

Used to love this place but... had a bug in my chicken recently . This was plain chicken. No veggies other than chili peppers and sauce. Called and complained and they oh a bug yeah sometimes that happens.. Sorry but I'll never be returning.

I'm not sure how the quality could have gone down so badly in just less than one year. I would have given them four stars when we moved here May 2023. We just ordered the imitation crab cream cheese wonton appetizer, lemon chicken, broccoli beef, & chicken chow mein. Honestly, I literally had to spit out the appetizer and broccoli into my napkin. The crab was beyond inedible, and the broccoli head was so soggy and slimy. The lemon chicken barely had flavor and I didn't even try the chow mein. My husband (the construction worker/handyman) said, "I've had worse." So sad.

Their food tastes delicious and the service is excellent. It arrives to the table or to the person ordering take out quickly and hot like it is supposed to.

It's always been one of my favorite restaurants in Placerville California. The quality of food is very consistent and I've never been disappointed.

Since I was coming down the hill after a day hike in Placerville, I stopped by Hong Kong Inn to grab takeout to celebrate New Year's Eve. I was not in the mood to cook dinner and remembered this restaurant was nearby. The food was pretty good, Americanized Chinese style. They cook without MSG which I appreciate. I ordered the chicken fried rice and tangerine chicken. The fried rice was fantastic. The rice was light and fluffy with absolutely no oiliness. Very clean tasting. The pieces of chicken were cleanly cut pieces of light meat. The tangerine chicken was good. It was not overly sweet since they do not use HFCS sauces or MSG. The coating was not over floured and the chicken was moist. The menu has a hot chili pepper next to the tangerine chicken but you can ask for it to be cooked mild. Still yummy either way. The interior is a bit outdated but clean. The folks that work here are so darn kind. Another great thing about this place is the lunch ~$10.50 and dinner specials ~$13 are offered every day, not just on the weekdays.

Hated how the prices are super misleading. Food was mediocre. Chicken in the chow mein is not great..

First of all and the service was super rude they slammed our food down on the table as if we were burdening them but we thought maybe it was cuz we came to late but there were people that came in after us and they got treated we better I don't understand. The food was mediocre at best.
