Taphouse is one of those super underrated gems of placerville! Although I worked there, the main reason I actually applied for a job was because of the great food, and amazing atmosphere. As a former employee, it’s still one of my absolute favorites to visit.
We've been here several times, the burgers are wonderful
it seems there are a lot of staff but they are never fast with service. the food never comes out all at once and when you look around to wave for your waitress it's a gossip session at the front desk.
using the same rags to wipe down the tables. it doesn't matter where I've sat, it's not clean, sticky crumbs. I'm sure we will come here again hope it's better.
My fish and chips were so greasy. Two pieces looked like they'd been refried. First time here and won't be back.
