Felt like I was being set up. Lady comes out of nowhere & starts yelling at me about my dogs in the car, everyone's phones were out & ready to record me incase I flipped out which I did not. Instead ahe was asked to leave. I paid over $100. 00 including tip took my food went home only to find out they sold me bad tuna ahi (not supposed to be brown & hard) & tacos did not taste like they should

Awful experience. The worst ever. We were passed by twice by two different servers upon being seated. Two other parties arrived after us and were acknowledged by both servers within minutes of each other. Walked to the bar and asked to speak to a manager to find out there wasn't one. Asked for a supervisor and told there wasn't one either. The bartender said he was kind of a supervisor and could maybe assist with my issue. The server came by within two minutes. Come to find out she was one of the servers who literally walked by without any acknowledgement. She apologized un apologetically with a smirk. I thought we should still give the opportunity to fix the issue and not just get up and walk out as suggested. The only thing good there today was the brewski. Ordered the ribeye steak - it was so tuff the knife provided would not cut and it was so dry no matter how much a1 sauce I added. Ordered the bass tacos that tasted like they came from a box that was fried in the air fryer. Ordered another round of beers and asked the sever to please bring the check. As she walked by several times not asking if we needed anything. We literally had to flag her down multiple times to get the check. After all this we still left a tip in hopes that she would change how she approaches customers in the future. We've been here many times and never experienced this type of issues. We will not be returning EVER!

Good vibes. Quality beers. Even better food. The wings were perfection. Fish in fish tacos and fish and chips was different and so good in each. Irish coffee strong and sooo good 👍🏾 we weren't charged an automatic gratuity for 7 people( 2 small kids) which was surprising and nice so we left a good one!

Went in with a wedding party of 15 but had a reservation. The table were all set up and ready to go. Garrett our waiter/bartender did a good job taking all of our drink and food orders. Everything came fairly fast especially considering we went on a Friday night. Would recommend

Took my family here for lunch on a Saturday after a morning at Apple Hill. We shared a BOJ burger with sweet potato fries, and I'm glad we did! It was HUGE, but also rich, sweet, and absolutely delicious. Kids mac got two thumbs up and the teens loved their taco plate and Philly cheese steak.
Great beer selection (we each got a mango hazy IPA) and our service was attentive.
I strongly recommend this place for lunch.

Midday Friday many open tables so noise level was low. When this place is busy it gets awfully loud. I had the JJ Chicken Sandwich, generous size with good flavor. I noticed there is an outside seating area on the north side of the property closer to highway 50.

Would have given 5 stars except:
1. The philly cheesesteak didn't have hardly any cheese
2. IT IS TOO BRIGHT IN THERE. We felt like we were under interrogation lamps.
3. So, so very loud. There is nothing in there to absorb the sound. We couldn't hear eachother talking at the table.
Otherwise, Good experience. Not sure if we will go back because of the overly bright and loud atmosphere. We can get good food at a lot of other places in Placerville, where it is more comfortable.

It was very busy as can be expected on a holiday weekend. I would go back at a less busier time. 👍
Kid-friendliness: I saw families with kids there.
Wheelchair accessibility: I am not sure if there is one. Please check for it thru the website.

Good food at a reasonable price. The location is downtown Placerville. Parking is at a premium. There is free parking next door.
Good access to highway 50.

Taphouse is one of those super underrated gems of placerville! Although I worked there, the main reason I actually applied for a job was because of the great food, and amazing atmosphere. As a former employee, it’s still one of my absolute favorites to visit.
We had a great time here, the food was wonderful, the patio was nice and inviting, and Heather is an amazing server! We'll definitely be back!

Wow, I was absolutely blown away by the food. My husband ordered the chicken club and it was soooooooooooo good! It was savory and sweet a perfect combo. Our server was Ulysses and he made our experience wonderful. He kept checking in on us and was prompt with everything. I’m coming back ! The outdoor setting is everything and super cute too.

Philly had meat on half, was 'meh'. Same meat used in the carne asada burrito it seems, but that thing was great with the sauce and everything else they packed in there. Loved the waitstaff.
