It is closed Jennette Waldow and her company, International Farmers Kitchen LLC, have been operating the restaurant without a health permit since July 2020. This was a result of poor and inadequate water supply from Apple Bistro's nearby well, according to the California Environmental Management Department. Department officials said the well is "not an approved water source," per the state's safety code for authorized food facilities. Apple Bistro's eviction this week has to do with a well that wasn't permitted to be used as the restaurant's water supply.

This place has always been overpriced diner with food for seniors. I would compare it to an overpriced iHop. It's not like it's a classy restaurant. It's a surprise people were still going here before this Jennette lunatic started crying about slander because she doesn't know how to run her business. Do NOT give your money or donations to these TERRORISTS. They will literally run you out of their restaurant while coughing in your face, just to get you to leave. They are beyond ridiculous and honestly one of the worst businesses in California. They need to be shut down until they can properly handle this pandemic in a serious matter. I'm giving this closed restaurant a 5 star review for now being closed. Sad actually I had many meals here in my days driving up to hit the slops. But after they stood on the soap box with the anit mask BS I stopped so did all of my family and friends. RIP you won't me missed.

Overpriced joint without a health permit due to their funky well water. The owner made herself famous for ignoring all the Covid restrictions. Great place to eat for right wingers and other fringe people.
Food was meh and place was not very sanitary, service was horrible to round things up.

Ok People ....they have no health permit....they refused to close when ordered to do so and received covid pandemic relief funds.....posted a sign that said no masks allowed...... Why the sheriff hasn't closed them down is something everyone should question..... Please DO NOT support these folks!!!!!!! Health dept protects YOU,

I've eaten here several times, but my favorites are the Bistro Burger and the cinnamon rolls. Yesterday, I picked up cinnamon rolls to take home to my family because we love them and because we need to support this business. They're still getting hammered by the county for staying open during the pandemic. I have to say that this restaurant was a Godsend during the peak of the 'Rona; it was one of the only places you could go to share a meal with family and friends, and feel normal. We have to support the businesses willing to take a stand for freedom. So, when you go, take cash, they are unable to process credit and debit cards, thanks to El Dorado County tyrants.

I'm glad I found this spot. Wonderful food, excellent prices. I will definitely be a regular when I'm in the area. Not to mention, one of the greatest patio views in California. Stop and grab a bite to eat, you won't regret it.
