I was very disappointed in my food. I ordered the orange chicken and it was so stringy you could barely chew it.

I had War Wonton soup like I told the waitress it was lacking much ingredients. She said they added more water than normal. That's why they only have three stars . The silverware was good quality that is the first thing I look at . Service was good but my concerns were not addressed. Limited everything. I also asked for water I love water. I wasn't impressed.

Pearl is a hit and miss depending on who the chef is and I can honestly say that for the most part the dishes do not taste authentic. I've experienced inconsistent quality from the 3 times that I have dined here and I hope that better training amongst the cooks and head chef will resolve this.

Good restaurant but double check the hours as management sometimes does not follow it as advertised . The second time they closed early at 2:30 instead of three

We've dined at Pearl Asian Cuisine @ Red Hawk Casino several times. The ambiance is elegant yet casual. There are cozy booths and plenty of tables for small and large parties. The wait staff don uniforms and provide attentive, friendly service - which is practically non-existent at many casual restaurants. The food has been outstanding at every visit. We've tried their salt and pepper squid, beef chow fun, mapo tofu, and Aberdeen style fish. The salt and pepper squid is deep-fried goodness. And the mapo tofu is slightly spicy and delicious. We keep coming back for the beef chow fun (rice noodles with a great balance of flavor and wok breath) and the Aberdeen style fish (lightly breaded fish fillets with dried black beans, garlic, jalapeños, and red/green bell peppers). Both dishes are so satisfying!

Service was good, just that they were very busy. Everything was full of flavor besides the soup, it was extremely bland. Portions for fried rice and chow mein were very large. All in all, it's fine.

Food was cold. We told the server but he didn't seem too interested in getting hot food. Probably will not return. Restaurant was not busy. Better Chinese food other places.

Took a break from playing and decided to try this place for lunch. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Not that busy on a weekday. For the appetizer we had Salt and Pepper Squid. They were crispy and hot. The dipping sauce had nice flavor to it. For my meal I had General Chicken Combo with fried rice. The portion sizes was good. Just the right amount of spiciness and the fried rice was pretty good. My friend had the Aberdeen Style Fish combo. Overall it was a good meal.

Red Hawk, Asian Pearl Restaurant downstairs wanted to order food to go on a Saturday night, I was told they were to busy to accept to go orders. The wait time for a table was at the minimum 40 minutes. I frequently get a lunch plate (special house chow mein). I was willing to place my order and return n' a hour. They totally refused to take my order. I told them if they were to busy for to go orders than at least post a sign 2 let customers aware of the situation. The Casino Host office was of no help to remedy the situation. I had a $5. food reward coupon (expires n' 24 hrs.) which is issued after spending a $100.00 on slots. U' would think on a Saturday night at a Casino they would have enough staff to handle the crowds. Isn't that restaurant staffing 101. Signed Dissatisfied

Went in with low expectations, but actually left impressed! Portions were big and food was flavorful, they did not skimp and for the price it was reasonable. Service was a little slow, but that was probably because they were understaffed. Took 15 minutes before a waiter got to our table, but she apologized for how long it took. Decor and setting was a mix of Chinese and Japanese elements, they even have private rooms for big parties. Wish they would open the restaurant on the weekend for lunch hours, currently they are only open for dinner on the weekend.

Solid 2 stars for this restaurant because the food was edible. We went to Red Hawk so we could eat and play. I didn't want to go to the buffet since we were going next month already, so we opted out for this restaurant. They have original Chinese dishes, which looked better on print than in person. We ordered the salted fish fried rice, honey walnut prawns, fried wontons with cream cheese, and the hot and sour soup. The salted fish fried rice with chicken was so disappointing... the fish in the fried rice tasted like they opened up a can and dumped it into the rice. It also tasted like they used a handful of the salt Morton girl and dumped it in there. The fried wontons were a solid 2 just because you cannot mess up frying wontons with cream cheese inside. I wished they had put imitation crabmeat inside though. :( the hot and sour soup portion was small... enough for one person. There was a slight taste of how it's supposed to taste like, but it wasn't strong enough like the original recipes. The honey walnut prawns were good, they did a really good job -- as they should. Other than that, our server was sweet and attentive. I just don't understand why they had so many workers when it wasn't busy yet we still didn't get our change for the check until 10 minutes later (it wasn't busy and they had multiple workers standing at the front). I wouldn't come here again to eat when going to Red Hawk. The dishes weren't authentic tasting to me.

My wife & I decided to eat here since other restaurants were busy and lines were long. So, the wait time was very short here- that's a plus. The food on the other hand, very much disappointing. The appetizers came out quick and they were actually pretty delicious and warm. The rest of the food came out cold, tasteless, chicken pieces were cut extremely big and the meat you couldn't chew. The server was nice and brought out our food quickly but I couldn't return to this place again. Someone in the review post referred to this place as Panda Express quality. I am sorry but Panda Express is much better than this place.

The food was excellent along with the presentation. My favorites were the Sweet and Sour Pork with Peaches, Wonton Soup and Fried Rice. Service was unparalleled to any where in El Dorado County.
