Best pie I've tasted. I got the hippy vegan style. It was perfectly cooked, and the pesto on the side hit the spot. I was sick that day, and it brought me back to life.

The vegan savory pies were delicious & excellent customer service! I had the Hippy & Japan. If you love mushrooms, go for the Hippy! 3 veg options & they will make them vegan. They just use vegan crust.
Small space but delicious and large hand pies. We had Russia which had complex flavors, Hawaii which was the perfect combination of sweet and savory and the ham and cheese which was salty deliciousness!

The food was very good. They could use a couple more seats in there but other than that it’s a nice place to stop and have a snack. W

A really great little meal spot in downtown Placerville. I stopped by here on the way back from South Lake Tahoe and I’m so glad I did. I got the Italian Pasty (which was basically a calzone with flaky pie crust instead) and it was great. Lots of good pie choices and a nice if tiny dining area with cozy decor. Would stop by again!

So impressed and thankful for this incredible spot. I’ve never been able to have a pasty before and they have Gluten Free pasty shells that have been mastered. Absolutely delicious and filling. Thank you guys for creating food and place for folks who can’t have wheat.

It was nice being able to find a hearty vegan option in town, the pies are pasty pies, not like the typical round pie I was assuming, but it’s still a large portion for one & very tasty! There are 3 vegetarian pies that can be made vegan, I opted for the Japanese. I’d like to go back to try the Hippie! There is 1 table inside & a couple bar stools at the window. Lots of free street parking. Updated from previous review on 2024-11-04
This place is such a gem! We got the Japan pie. It was so savory and delicious. The lady who helped me was so nice and inviting. So glad I tried this place.

Very tasty. You could tell they use fresh and high quality ingredients. Especially worth trying if you've never had a savory pie before. Definitely worth a quick stop if you're driving through the area.

All 3 of their vegetarian dishes can be made vegan and gluten free. I ordered The Hippy and it was so so good. The chef was super nice and accommodating. The pie takes about 10 mins to bake. Yum yum !
