Great pies. I regularly stop here on the way to Tahoe. I haven't had a bad pie. Thai, Irish, Hawaiian, Russian, Japanese -- all unique and delicious.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options that are super tasty - clearly labeled, too. We had the Thai and the Hippy, I recommend both and will order again for sure!

Went here the day after Thanksgiving to walk and shop. It was so nice to pop in here for a yummy meat pie. We got the Ireland one. Soooo good. Nice chunks of meat, flaky pasty. So good.

WOW, what a cool place to discover for a lunch or early dinner. Pasties, international meals inside an incredible pastry puff - we tried the Irish, the Russian, the Italian, and the American. All were outstanding, tasty, filling, and delicious - worth a stop if you like fun new eats!

Yummy savory pies that are huge!

Odd how the meat options are called "Naughty" yet you have more of those options than vegetarian. Also you charge $2 extra to make the vegetarian ones vegan. Other than that it's great.

As an Aussie in California, I’m always on the hunt for a good meat pie. This place does the best pies I’ve found in the US! The Russian pie is stunning. They have good gluten free options too! Definitely worth stopping by on your way to Lake Tahoe!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Delicious pies! Staff was really friendly and personable. It only takes about 5 minutes to get your order. The only downside of this place is the small size - there's one table for 2 and standing room for 4.

Great little spot with delicious savory pies! Meat and vegan options all amazing with most available in gluten free crusts. Super tiny spot adjacent to the Emerald Forest with great people serving up great food!

We found this place on our visit to Placerville. It is a little pie shop that offers various pasties from around the world. I ordered the French pasty and my husband ordered the Thai pasty. It was about $30 for the two of us. But, I will say that the pasties were pretty big and neither one of us was able to finish. So, we thought that the prices were pretty reasonable. The food itself was really good. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our pasties. You order at the counter and then you can eat outside at the little table they have in front,(if you are lucky enough to get it), or you can take it to go. We were lucky enough to get the table outside. So, we sat right outside and enjoyed it out of the to-go box on the main street. I definitely recommend this place. It was very unique and the food was delicious. I hope to come back again soon.

Kat the manager is a wonderful hostess! Full of knowledge of the history of pasty pies and the ties to original settlers of these mining towns. She brings the history and food origins together in a special way that is what I believe to be the spirit of the old West and the embodiment of El Dorado County culture and love! Truly a wonderful shop that embraces the history of the miners and serves up quality food made with love, just like it was over 150 years ago..
