Placerville Public House - Family Restaurant & Pub

We enjoyed our lunch today. Nice atmosphere and great service. If I had anything that I would say wasn’t my favorite it would be the beer cheese dip that came with our garlic bread( bread was great). I am Irish and I expected a nice creamy cheddar cheese with a beer influence. Unfortunately, it was so spicy that I couldn’t taste anything but the heat. Maybe they should offer a milder version along with the spicy. Kinda bummed because I wouldn’t order it again. Just an idea.

I've eaten here twice now, and was super happy with my experience both times. Service is wonderful and attentive, the food is delicious, and they're family-friendly. It's clean and well maintained, and I love the design and theme of the decor. Perfect place to catch up with friends, or dine with the whole family.

Service was so slow. We waited almost 15 minutes to be greeted at our table, we almost left. Just two of us and our drinks came out at least 5 minutes apart, and so did our food.
Server actually had my drink in her hand, stopped to chat with the people at the end of the bar for a couple minutes instead of just bringing it straight out to me.
My friend ordered a sandwich but wanted to substitute yellow mustard instead of beer mustard... they brought it to her dry with the bottle of yellow mustard on the side- that's pretty lame service for a $20 sandwich. The large Ceasar for $15 didn't feel different or special.
The music was 90s r&b break up songs which was not a fun vibe.
It was my first time in, and wont be going back.

We had a bit of lunch at this place, and were so pleased with the set up, the tasty food, and especially the availability of thoughtfully created vegetarian dishes. Great spot! We’ll be back!!!

A waste of time for me today. And did not communicate. The plumbing issue they were having was in the kitchen. It said something about the bathroom being plugged up. Wasted 45 minutes of my day waiting for them to take my order because they weren't sure if they could. Just close the doors if you got a problem.

In the heart of gold country history in the most iconic and historical town! This place is a must ! Walk in the door and feel the mood of the town.. its community, it’s family, it’s just amazing

Stopped here with some friends and so glad we did! Amazing place with excellent service and mouth watering food. We had the jerk chicken tacos, caprese sandwich, and Caesar salad. All amazing. Will definitely be back
