Local neighborhood bar up in hangtown with an interesting and very above average bar food menu p with the very friendly bartender who went to bed and beyond... Great storyteller and wonderful guy. It's just a beer and wine place only so just keep that in mind

Good, but they always forget stuff. Three times they forgot my Ceasar dressing with my salad and they forgot to put Brie cheese on my apple chicken bacon Brie sandwich. I’ll change the 3 star to 5 when they finally get it right for once’s

There is actually no Brie on the sandwich…. 3 stars until they put Brie on the chicken apple bacon Brie sandwich.

Placervillle Public House is a pub serving upscaled comfort food.
Food: unique and tasty options. Such as, Elote dip, banh mi tacos, bratwurst sando, shaka pizza, Bacon & Blue Mac and vegetarian options.
Service: friendly, attentive and welcoming. Family-friendly providing coloring books and toys for the children.
Ambiance: great vibe in a beautifully restored historic building.
Events: Thursday- trivia night. Friday and Saturday- live music. Tuesday- kids eat free

This place continues to go downhill in my opinion. We have been going there for years. But the last year we have stopped going much at all because the service is very hit and miss. A few good servers here and there. The food had also started to be not as good. We decided to try it again and for me this is probably the last time. The serving size for the price is pitiful. Especially the ridiculously small kids pizza for $12. It was burnt on the bottom besides. The garden sandwich sounded very good but was pitiful and served on a dry bun. The service was adequate but not friendly. Just disappointing again. This used to be one of my favorite places.

Came here for my birthday dinner the other night. Waitress was very kind and welcoming! The atmosphere is so fun, and they have cards on the table to play games. Beer was good, food was good. Will be back!

There is a lovely bar that we sat at. There are many beer options made there and by other local brewery. The tacos are tasty.

This is our go to place whenever we're in the area and we've never been disappointed. Service has always been friendly, quick, and helpful. Food is outstanding, especially the classic pub nachos, banh mi tacos, and the loaded wedges. They also have a great on tap beer selection. Have heard it can get a bit loud, but we tend to get there early, so haven't had any problem with it being overly loud. Just go and enjoy!

We where staying at the Carry house. Came to public house for dinner. I had the Korean tacos, let me tell you these where the best tacos I ever had and I have eaten plot tacos but the flavor of these out shined evey taco 🌮 I ever had. Friendly staff, good beer, I can't say enough about this place. Come check it out I don't think you will be disappointed.
