Service was nice and friendly, oysters was the best part our lunch. Both linguines tasted over cooked, no flavor, felt mushy and soupy disappointed in the main dishes but a good spot for a beer and oysters.

Visiting Main st and dying to try clam chowder so asked a lady at Bonkers where best place was and she said Powels , it was disgusting, was like eating thicken cornflour with potatoes???couldnt find the clams? Sourdough and co was creamy and so tasty, and service fantastic, just had a feeling the town didnt want Sourdough and co to come, sad because it was the best along with Mels Diner!

I love seafood. Used to deep sea fish my self and was craving that freshoff the coat flavor. Ive Been here before and got rhe Oysters which have always been awsome . Today we wanted seafood/sandwhiches and wanted to support the local businesses vs a chain. Anyways ordered a crab sandwich with clam chowder and crabcake meal. They were okay. Not something to rave about tho. Left feeling very disappointed. Crab cakes looked like pancakes and I can make clam chowder better and my crab sandwich was meh. Ill go back for oysters and a drink but thats it .

I love this place, I really do, but I'm from Monterey and I guess my standards for seafood are high, but this place is pretty good for being so far from tbe ocean. So 4 stars for not warming the bread and the service can be iffy. I still love going here, I don't really eat carbs anyway. Lol The patio is really cool with the creek running under and u can bring your dogs!
