‘Sunshine Donuts & Cafe’ is a charming little “unexpected” spot in Placerville, tucked away along the winding hills, far from the hustle and bustle of downtown main street…and is TOTALLY worth the drive!
With a spacious exterior, charming and welcome interior with great energy, and a fantastic, friendly staff!
…Oh, and not to mention - delicious donuts! LOVE this place and I’ll definitely be back for the coffee, too! I highly recommend.

Wonderful new little café! Great donuts, fresh made bagels. Brakfast bagels made with real eggs!!!! Great prices. Good selection of drinks, snacks and things like yogurt parfait and chia seed parfait. Great service and always smiling! Thank you for the amazing service!

What a cute place! The people working there (I assume the owners) were both soooo friendly. The donuts are fresh and delicious, and fairly priced. I also had a breakfast sammy and it was to die for! The bacon was thick and crispy and they use REAL eggs which is a bonus. Not the crap you’d get from Starbucks that’s for sure. This is a hidden gem, highly recommend popping into this adorable cafe :)
