This place was once delicious and had great service. We had not been since the 'old owners' took over the establishment, again.
Unfortunately we were thoroughly disappointed. Spent $166 on a take out order. The waitress handed over a brown bag which was only part of the order. my mom and daughter sat there an extra 5 minutes wondering where the pizzas were (the rest of our order) because the host was off doing other things my mom asked the chef who's pizzas were sitting on the counter, it was ours. The chef handed them to her. .
Now the food. The chicken in the Picata I ordered was so tough it made me want to call them and let them know they are selling $27 plates with borderline inedidle food. Also, absolutely NO KIDS MENU ON THE ONLINE ORDERING SYSTEM, I WAS FORCED TO BUY A $23 CHEESE PIZZE FOR MY KID THAT THEY SOLD ON THE KIDS MENU FOR $12. Be aware of that!
I have seen the updates reviews and was timid about trying this place again, but because we once loved it, I held out hope. Lastnighrs experience was the nail in the coffin. Too high of prices for low quality food and service.

We stopped here for dinner on our way home from a long day of driving. Someone brought menus, but nobody took our order: instead we ordered via QR code on the table. Once we realized we had to do that, it was pretty smooth sailing. Ordered drinks, appetizer and three meals: spaghetti and meatball, kids chicken nuggets and chicken Parmesan. Food taste was GREAT! We all cleaned our plates! They were about to start live music it seemed but we were done before they started. All in all, a good place to eat with friendly staff!

**WARNING** Subpar food with an outrageous price tag. The service doesn’t even come close to making up for the high cost. Honestly, I could buy canned sauce at the store, warm it up at home, and it would have more flavor than what I was served here. For the prices they’re charging, the quality is nowhere near acceptable. At this rate, I don’t see this place lasting much longer. Do yourself a favor and avoid eating here unless you’re absolutely desperate.

Nice resteraunt u sit yourself and order on ur phone. Workers were average there was one instance where a worked was on his phone in the front felt it was a little unprofessional and if u order pasta with bacon just make sure to ask for it fresh, it’s made before hand and it makes the pasta not as good but the rest of the pasta was great!

What a treat to be able to order The Place for delivery! We live rural about 20 minutes from The Place. We were able to order online (late 8:00) and had delicious Italian food delivered to our gate! It was piping hot and the delivery fee was under $16 ! 10/10 would recommend them for delivery if you don’t feel like going out but still want a delicious meal!

I don’t quite know why so many people love this restaurant. It’s so overpriced you’d think it was located in Milan or even San Francisco. It The food was okay, especially the bread, but not good enough to warrant such praise. has a casual atmosphere but the prices don’t reflect that. Each dish is between $25.00-$35.00 and plain well drinks are $13.00. A little too rich for a local place. We won’t be eating them again.

It was okay. Less food choices and more booze than when they were at the previous location. The food was solid but not outstanding. I don't think it's worth the drive out there any longer, unfortunately.

I visited this location last night to pick up an order, and I was very disappointed with the lack of proper food safety practices. The employee handling my payment did not remove the same gloves he had been using to prepare food. After taking my money, he then placed my cookie into the box using those same gloves. This is extremely unsanitary and raises serious concerns about hygiene standards. I hope management addresses this issue to ensure that proper food handling procedures are followed in the future.
I love that the original owners are back again. They made some aesthetic changes that I think are great. Opening up the space and definitely making it feel like a family place again. I think owning a restaurant has so many challenges and overhead of staffing is definitely a huge operating cost. With that said, they have changed up their service style which I do think is a great idea. We came to try to out again now that it has reopened, for lunch early in the day during the week, so as to be expected, it was very slow. I think this made our experience a bit more enjoyable. I have no issues with getting my own water or ordering on the QR code or asking for something when I need to by going to talk to someone. That isn’t what some people feel service should be but I think it definitely makes them more efficient for their business needs, and I don’t need to be pampered with service. I can say that the lunch portions are very small and similar price to dinner portions which was kind of not great since I had to order 2 of them to go for hubs and it ended up being around $40 for a nice size helping of pasta and shrimp. But alas I know things are more difficult these days and everything costs more, I’m just super grateful they are open again and everyone (including kitchen staff) welcomed us with a smile. I also love that is definitely seems more kid friendly especially vs the last owner who wanted it to be so fancy it felt like I couldn’t even eat there with my family.
In times where businesses are struggling to make it worth it, I think they have taken a very smart approach to staying open. As a member of the community I am happy they are here. I wish others would stop complaining so much with their expectations of being entitled to fancy pampering and be happy there’s a cool place with good food that offers the community an option. Because, let’s face it, there isn’t a whole lot around and it’s great to have something that isn’t a 2 hour round trip commute just for a meal that’s delicious.
Thank you guys for coming back. Our family is happy that you have found a way to serve the community again and I truly hope it works out!
