This is my #2 favorite spot for Mochas and Cappuccinos! They don’t have food but have really good coffee and very good homemade muffins. I also like to buy their coffee for use at home because it’s so good and cheaper to buy there than at the grocery store. The staff is also very friendly and their foam art is up and coming 😉

Pachamama Coffee! I luv saying the name. Better yet, that's some darn good coffee.

The cafes are mainly in Sacramento and the foothills. This particular one is in Placerville, right on touristy Main Street. Well It's actually tucked in a shopping pedestrian alley right off Main Street.

The coffee is delicious. I've had their various drip coffees before, all terrific tasting. My usual go to's are their lattes. This time I was in the mood for a seasonal winter drink, wintermint mocha. Yum! I ordered it with oat milk and they don't up charge. The mocha had a smooth, creamy chocolate espresso taste. I even got a pretty design of foamed milk on top of my drink. Aww it was cute. No up charge for that as well and I didn't even ask them to do it

Outside the cafe is an outdoor courtyard with bistro tables for folks to sit n enjoy their coffee or whatever. I say whatever because the area is open for all to sit a spell. The courtyard is enclosed with brick buildings around its square perimeter. The buildings provide ample shade and cooling temps in the summer. Plus there is a water fountain that provides a calming zen like sound of trickling water. The cafe also has an indoor seating area. The interior furniture includes tables, sofas, lounge chairs, and high top tables aesthetically giving off modern, minimalist Scandinavian design vibes. Luvin this look.

I am giving the one star because of the service. A mistake was made with my order- which is fine if it is properly corrected but it was not. I ordered an iced latte but instead the made me a hot. I politely asked for an iced to be made instead. They must have just dumped out half my hot latte and then just added ice because what I ended up with was iced water basically. I do appreciate they were busy -but I know I asked for an iced latte. I was with my toddler and was unable to taste my drink until I had left. I was upsetting to pay 8 dollars ( with tip) for a small latte and have it be undrinkable. I understand it can be hard to correct mistakes if you are busy but I am left with a very bad impression and will not return unfortunately.

Cute little place in the middle of Main Street, this coffee place is tucked away from the hustle bustle and has super friendly staff. Good selection of drinks too.

Absolutely love this place! Coffee is the best: not over acidic and not bitter. Lovely patio outside and inside it’s bright with live plants and free books to read.

Con: close early: 3pm even on weekends (inconvenient)
Lack of pastries, have to go elsewhere to get them due to very limited selection. Music needs to be louder as it’s too quiet and awkward in the back sitting next to people.

Update: we stopped in again on our way back home. I'm so glad we did. It was absolutely the best flat white I have ever had in my life. We did sit in their lovely courtyard and it took me back to cafés in Europe. The servers were delightful and kind and, have I mentioned, the best coffee ever! I highly recommend this cafe.

We stopped in on a whim one morning while looking for breakfast. Sadly they only had muffins, and we were hungrier than that. I was disappointed because the courtyard looked so inviting. At the last minute I decided to order a cortado for our walk to the restaurant. It was perfectly made and so satisfying. We'll definitely be back. The courtyard is calling.

Has the atmosphere of a great coffee shop. My latte(the Natalie)had good crema & latte art, served at a reasonable amount of time, menu had unique & typical flavors depending on your mood. I especially loved the shaded courtyard which allowed my children to be with me without us feeling like we are too loud. The little free library was a perfect addition to this area for people who like to read whilst sipping coffee/tea. I feel like the music was the only thing that didn’t fit the vibe outside, would love to hear more mellow music that fits the ambiance of the fountain & courtyard.

Decided to stop for a coffee on my way home from Boa Vista. Found this place and it was so pleasant. I ended up getting a Chai and a banana muffin. I sat out in the courtyard for a while and watched the people and dogs.
