They offered a large number of specials. The Chilean Sea Bass was excellent. We also enjoyed the Veal with artichokes. The service was attentive and we ate on the outdoor patio.
Fabulous!! From home made pasta, to terrific fish and delicious desserts we had a wonderful night. The servers are warm and, after especially after repeat visits, make you feel right at home!
We'd had a very good experience a few mo ago so were eager to return. The waiter, tho Italian and seemed gracious was extremely slow and forgot some of our order, our soup which than took almost 25 minutes to arrive and then our entree was a long wait after that. Not sure what was going on, everyone makes mistakes but we received no offer of accomodation at all and the whole eve left a very bad feeling with us. Unpleasant night.
Always a lovely dining experience and the true definition of a neighborhood gem. The bread is heavenly and we love their soups, pastas, and really everything. Their servers are professionals and, in many cases, Italian!
Waiter was exceptional. Food was authentic and very delicious. Wine choice was perfect. We will be back!
Caffe Pinguini is nothing short of outstanding with delicious food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Our family goes there for casual and special occasion dining. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Caffe Pinguini. This is one of my favorite places on the coast. It has been a long minute. Since I was here but coming back felt like I was here only yesterday. This time I had the Veal Chop it was excellent as was the pesto. My wife had the Ravioli w/osso buco. Delicious.
Staff excellent and great service. Ambiance casual but romantic. Outside seating allows behaved dogs (we brought ours)
If you ever have a chance I highly recommend.

Visiting from out of town and tried Caffe Pinquini based on reviews online and pictures. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was PERFECTION! Followed by a romantic walk on the beach for an anniversary dinner this restaurant will be on my must visit list every time I find my way back to LA.
We had a lovely meal each a delectable experience! Our waiter was willing to make our changes and he was very helpful giving us a great experience! We'll be back again another time from Redondo Beach. Thank you for keeping Italian authentic! Only thing it was Matt's birthday and I did put it in my reservation, but we forgot to celebrate it last night!

Very nice restaurant, nice staff, great food. Good thing they have valet parking as parking can be difficult at times.
One of my favorite restaurants. The service is great, and the food is never disappoints.

Excellent food. They were pretty busy and our waiter didn't get to us for about 15 min. The other servers, water, bread etc, were on top of it though. A couple times we had to ask them for drink refills.
It was our first time at Caffe Pinguini and we went as our usual LAX area go-to Italian eatery was closed on Mondays. The menu offered an excellent selection to choose from and the food was delicious. The night we went, there was a large party so service was less than superior and the noise level was excessively loud - so those two items distracted from our evening. But if asked: Will I go back? The answer is yes, and hope for a more local crowd with a lower noise level.
Really good food.
