Oh man the food was just bad. Worst fish taco I’ve ever had. Greasy and gross chunks. The pork was dry and flavorless and the chicken was not good with a big glop of wet cheese on top. The steak in the taco tasted good but it was just steak on a greasy, wet corn tortilla. I’m all set at that place. Waste of money.

I ordered to-go and they were able to prepare the food fairly quickly. We ordered the fajita burrito with steak, which came wet with a red sauce and melted cheese and a side of refried beans. I ordered a new bowl with steak and nopales (cactus) that had rice and black beans. It came with pico de gallo and fresh avocado. Everything was tasty and not overly salty. We both really enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

The only thing we like better in the area than the local taco truck for filling food

Food was devine and the Cadillac margaritas was the best. Our server was the sweetest man and took exceptional care of us.

The service was very good but the food was too oily. Fish tacos dripping in oil... I didn't feel very good after.

Hacienda is amazing! I always get the steak fajitas and it's sizzling when it comes out! The service is outstanding and if you are lucky enough to come during Cinco De Mayo, the place is rocking! The beer is some of the coldest in PDR! 5 stars for everything!

Their food is delicious. Sometimes I go there to place an order to go. But while the chef is making it, I typically order a special margarita with chips and salsa while I wait. The people are nice, they have sports on TV, & the atmosphere at Hacienda Playa is nice (although I don't recommend going at peak hours, because it can get really busy during those times). It's a very popular place around here. "Mo's Place" is another restaurant and sports bar in the Playa del Rey area, & their steaks are to die for. The owner shops for and picks out only the best meat. However Hacienda Playa is a little more "upscale" than Mo's.

Came in 5/2/24 at 9:15pm for my pick up order for a simple burrito. When I finally found the unwelcoming front entrance, an older gentleman with glasses told me to go to the bar top for my pick up. There were 5 people at the bar and two bartenders. They were busy counting their tips and ignored me and were very unwelcoming. Finally they asked how they could help me, and I told them I had a pick up order. They told me to go talk the older gentleman who told me to to to the bar in the first place! Then the older man was terribly rude to me and was throwing my items into my bag like a teenager even though he was over 50. After 20 years in restaurant management I was actually blown away by their lack of professionalism.
