Went in for a drink after dinner and the locals at the bar were not welcoming. An older lady flipped us off and asked her friend when was the last time they executed someone not from LA. Didn't even finish our drinks since we knew we weren't wanted. Bummer cuz I love local dive bars but the patrons did not want us there.

This bar is awesome! We heard that it was the smallest bar in LA and expected to be greeted by regulars who resented our presence. We experienced the complete opposite. The bartender Pete immediately recognized my Midwest accent and engaged myself and my 2 adult children in conversation. The locals at the bar were also very engaging. Many reviews I have read described it as a dive. I completely disagree with that assessment. It is a local bar that is very welcoming to any patron. Keep in mind it is cash only! Looking forward to going back!

As for hot French fry and you will get a hot French fryEvery time when I get there I just find a parking spaceNo matter how crowded they are waitress or bartender will come up to me and ask if I need anything else? Turkey Burger didn't even know I was eating it ?☺️?

Very cozy bar, reasonable prices, fantastic cocktails. Fun albeit limited jukebox selection too. Don’t be afraid to get wrapped into the conversations and dramas of the other patrons - that is precisely the charm the Harbor Room offers.

I witnessed the most racist experience I've ever personally seen in my life here. The bartender observed and contributed to a customer berating my black friend with racist epithets. Totally and completely inappropriate, unwelcoming and despicable. I am disgusted with this behavior and hope this place closes down immediately
