I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. I consider myself a foodie, and try as many different restaurants and cuisines as I can. And yet, Playa Provisions remains my favorite restaurant in LA (and that's saying something, considering the amazing places in LA). Run, don't walk, to Playa Provisions. You'll thank me.
Exquisite everything. Second time better than the first. Order everything!

I had one of the best services of my life dining here. I highly recommend their bloody Mary. Ceviche was fresh and everything leaves you wanting more. Highly recommend. For the price, the food and drinks is worth it. There was also classy live jazz playing!

Cute place with a variety of seating options, tasty cocktails, and nice staff, but no vegan food. I had to remove an egg from the black lentils to make it vegan, but there is no protein to substitute for it.
Vegetarian options: No vegan options

I absolutely love this place! It’s the perfect spot right by the beach. The food is so well-crafted, and the pastries are incredible! My dad said it’s the best patty melt he’s ever had. I’ve already been back three times and will keep coming back! Plus, it’s a great stop on the way to LAX for pickups or drop-offs!
Good vibe and service. Food was surprisingly mediocre: we ordered a bunch of dishes across 4 people and none were standout.

I can't do much better than echo all of the other reviews. We specifically made it a point to visit Playa Provisions, and ate 2 breakfasts, one lunch, and one dinner in the span of 2 days and every meal was exceptional. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the different dining areas all had a unique yet cozy charm

Valet was terrible, didn’t open anyone’s door. Ordered from the counter because we had a dog and did not get water until the end of the meal,. I asked 5x for them to fill the water container but no one ever did. Both burgers were burnt. I’ve eaten here before and have been going here sporadically since they opened but will not return. Last time I went 5 months ago and had a similar experience. Used to be better.

I came in today for a book signing event and enjoyed some dinner after and I have all good things to say about this restaurant. I ordered the Connecticut style seafood roll and it was absolutely delicious along with the yummy fries. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is so friendly and you can just feel all the good vibes all around! Cannot recommend it enough. It's a must try! Thank you for a great dining experience.

WONDERFUL service. Beet cured salmon and bagel, exceptional. The Bloody Maria garnished with celery and an OLD BAY DUSTED SHRIMP is a Must Try variation. SKIN CONTACT wine! (also known as Orange Wine). It's chef Brooke Williamson. Valet Parking $5. Street parking is scarce.
Parking: Street Parking is scarce and Valet is the way to go.

We sat at the bar with Ivan and he was incredible, both with service & attitude as well as guiding us through the menu.
