I’ve been wanting to visit Playa Provisions (Dockside) for so long now and finally had the chance to go on a recent business trip. It did not disappoint. My friend and I indulged in delicious food, a casual coastal atmosphere, and exceptional service. Maddie was our server and we ordered everything she recommended and more. She was friendly, attentive, and suggestions were on point. We ordered the oysters, calamari (regular menu), crab mac and cheese, Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts, and crab claw lollipops! Holy cow, Brooke! Guy Fieri would be jealous of your flavortown in Playa del Rey! Can’t wait to come back for another visit. Please stop by and visit Playa Provisions.

Great place to come with kids after playing at the Lagoon park. They served one of the best donuts I’ve had (lemon poppyseed — slightly tart, light, flakey, cronut-esc), the chia pudding was a hit with the toddler and surprisingly a good amount of fruit, and fish tacos were solid. Only complaint is slow service, but kind staff.
This place is amazing!! I had the gluten free banana bread and it. was. SO good…I’ll have dreams about this banana bread for the rest of my life ??

Dietary restrictions: The Playa Provisions staff were very helpful & extremely careful regarding my peanut allergy. They were very kind and understanding of my allergies. (I carry Epipen aka epinephrine with me everywhere due to my allergies)Parking: There is free parking along the back street. (Make sure to read the parking signs prior to leaving your car)

Came here to dine for my friends birthday and was completely ignored by the bartender, he never offered us a Menu, it seemed like he didn’t want to interact with us while he was interacting with everybody else , I personally felt racially profiled but besides that , the atmosphere was dope , place was cool , it was aesthetically nice , the server just messed it up for me , I didn’t feel welcomed at all

I like Playa Provisions, when it’s open. That’s the problem … when is the main restaurant & bar area ever open? The posted hours are not correct. Every time I go to the hostess stand at this place they say the dining room is closed, even though there are people seated and eating. It’s the oddest place. (Though the cafe is open, but that’s usually not why we come). I finally stopped trying and now just go to Penguini’s or Bacari.
