Our VERY favorite local restaurant for both pizza and pasta. The food is fresh, the atmosphere is wonderful. We look forward to dining here. Each week. The staff is exceptional, friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend trying the dinner specials - they change quite often and we’ve enjoyed all of the dishes that Nando prepares.

I grew up in Italy and I can't say I've eaten at any Italian restaurant (in the U.S.) that somewhat compares until now. The food is amazing, well priced and the service is great and friendly. You will not be dissapointed.
Side note: From the city of Formia and Gaeta there is a similar taste in the pizza which brings back memories for me.

Went here for my birthday it was nothing a disaster. They the customer service, food was awful.

I hate to say this, Olive garden has better food and service, than this place.

What's advertised on the IG account don't expect to order it. I was told by the rude waitress it's only there for show.?

Prices range from five dollars for one piece of pizza, a meal in itself, to over $20 for fish or meat dishes, with pasta being somewhere in the middle. Wines are well selected and reasonable.

I love the Capricosa pizza best, but the pepperoni and the margarita pizzas are about as good as it gets. All are on a very thin hot crust.

Also love the tomato, basil, mozzarella sandwich on a warm, freshly baked baguette for lunch, with excellent fries, or a small side of garden salad that’s perfectly dressed with a lemon vinaigrette. Oh yeah!

Sometimes I dine alone here very comfortably, sometimes I come with a friend or two, and sometimes even my wife and kids! The owner, Nando, is as friendly as any maitre‘d at the high-end Beverly Hills restaurants, maybe moreso , and definitely more genuine.

The Good Pizza is a hidden gem, close to the cool clean air at the beach. Weekends, they have live music. Enjoy!

Very disappointed…. Was looking forward to the pizza and meatball sandwich. The sandwich was soggy and I don’t know what meat they use for the meatballs but it was bland and did not taste like meat. The cheese pizza had very little cheese and was flavorless. On top it all they included a $5.00 tip in the online order. Never again.

In this day & age customer service is at an all time low. I've been in the restaurant business for over 25 years so that's the first thing I notice.
Just gotta say that the customer here is above & beyond. Great people working here. The owner even came from around the counter to greet me.....above & beyond I tell ya.

Today, my two friends and I had an awful experience at “the good pizza”restaurant. We parked near this restaurant at 10:40am and went inside to order three sandwiches. While we were inside, someone scratched and spat on our car. When we approached the owner, who was sitting outside, to ask for footage, he became enraged and started threatening and harassing us. He claimed we had no right to park there and said he didn't need our business. We called the police to report the incident. The owner, Nando De Stefano, tried to intimidate us, screamed at us, and used racist slurs, telling us to "go ride our horses and camels." This behavior is completely unjustifiable, especially towards customers. We have filed a report with the police and the Better Business Bureau. Camera footage and pictures have been shared as well. It's deeply disappointing to witness such behavior from a Playa Del Rey local business owner, one who is a product of the immigration to America.

While visiting my sister, she introduced me to a charming little gem in Playa del Rey, her go-to spot for a delightful lunch and cozy evenings with friends. Nestled in a small outdoor space, the restaurant's atmosphere is both romantic and quaint, creating a perfect setting for a leisurely meal. She also let me know that sometimes they’ll have love music.

We opted for the daily specials, and I am particularly hoping the cacio e pepe becomes a regular menu item. It was creamy and perfectly seasoned, a true delight. However, the real star of the meal was the penne arrabbiata with sausage. Spicy, tangy, and rich in flavor, it was simply outstanding.

Beyond the food, the ambiance contributed to a wonderful dining experience. Though the outdoor area is small, it feels intimate rather than cramped, and the overall vibe is friendly and inviting. Whether you're looking for a relaxing lunch spot or a cozy place to enjoy sangria and pasta with friends, this place is definitely worth a visit.
