I have been to several Hopdoddy locations in Austin, Texas, and absolutely loved them. So when I found out there is a Hopdoddy in LA not far from me, I really wanted to check it out, and it didn’t disappoint. It was just as good as the other locations I’ve visited.

I ordered the classic burger with cheese and a truffle fries. The fries were really good - crispy, flavorful, and topped with Parmesan cheese. The fries is what I really love here. it tastes better than in other fast food chains.
The sauce the fries came with was delicious too. The portion was pretty big, enough for 2–3 people to share.

The burger was great. The beef patty was big, juicy and tender, and all the ingredients tasted fresh. The bun had a slightly sweet flavor. The price is pretty good for this burger.

The restaurant itself looks great, it super clean with plenty of seating. There are lots of tables inside, including some with sofas, there is a bar in the center, and they also have a nice outdoor patio. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they cooked everything pretty quickly.

Overall, I had really good experience. Probably one of the best burger chain in the US. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get some good burger.

The prices are absolutely fair. I'm not entirely sure about the portion size differences for the fries, but the large one is definitely enough for a full-grown adult. 😋

For reference: the regular fries with toppings seem like a standard size, while the sweet potato fries 🍟 might already be the large portion? 😅 Hard to tell…

Bottom line: The overall experience was great – definitely a place I’d recommend!

I love the Llano Poblano, my husband love El Bandito. We both love that the fries come out early and HOT! The music is a little loud for lingering and conversation, but it’s good!

I ordered Uber eats and didn’t get my drink and they sent the wrong burger. I order queso and got honey mustard. The whole order was wrong and terrible. Never again, don’t waste your money.
