The Cinemark Movie theater is the best restaurant and bar in Playa Vista. Friendly staff and the cooks take more pride in their work then any other establishment out here

Disappointing experience. Went for DineLA. The little gem salad was great and a generous portion, but then it was downhill from there. First, I was asked to change seats at the bar to accommodate another party. Excuse me, you sat me at my seat at the bar then you ask me to move during my meal? Not great. They tried to apologize by bringing me a scoop of ice cream, not realizing that I hadn't been served my entree yet. Not great. Got the eggplant Parmesan as my entree. It was more like a lasagna. Just OK. Then I had to wait over half an hour for my dine LA included desert. I was clearly an afterthought as a single at the bar. Nothing about the experience would make me want to return.

We got the LA Dine week special and it was mouthwatering! The seafood salad starter as well as the Sweet Corn & Crespelle entree were amazing. Also, if you are adventurous, try the Garlic Knotini, a martini with - you guessed it - garlic in it ?

You won't believe that the delicious beet salad is vegan. It sits on a bed of whipped sunflower aioli along with oranges. And the CASARECCE (curly pasta) with lamb, lemon, egg, pecorino, and mint is consistently fantastic.

We enjoyed a celebratory dinner on the patio with some friends who'd not been there before. We've been several times. The food has been consistently good, but a huge shout out to the recent addition of 12" pizzas and the brick chicken. Amazing! Wait staff was friendly and the owner and we had a nice chat about wines. Note that noise level on the patio is lower than inside. If you're sensitive to noise, choose a patio table. Heaters are sufficient.

My daughter had an amazing birthday dinner here. We have decided it is our new annual tradition to go here for her birthday. The staff took such great care of her and our food was delicious. A memorable dining experience in the best way possible. Also my friend who came with us loved his meal and said the bread was easily the best focaccia he had ever had.

Generally enjoyable meal. Oddly though, drinks from the bar took unusually long to be delivered. Also, although not specifically requested to come earlier, the salad was served at the same time as the entrees.

Our family enjoyed our dinner! The children's menu was good and the kids ate their pasta, chicken strips, and the excellent French fries. The eggplant parmigiana was firm and nicely layered. The meatballs were cooked perfectly and tasted like a great family tradition. The beet salad & focaccia with garlic butter and white bean spread were some of my favorite bites. I would definitely recommend trying these.

Menu is creative with dishes that are not on every Italian menu. The food is thoughtfully prepared and presented. We always look forward to a delicious meal and are never disappointed.

So much fun sitting outdoors on a beautiful Friday evening in this vibrant community of all ages. This is the first time I had their $15 SUPERFINE SMASH BURGER AND FRIES Housemade milk bun, fontina cheese, balsamic onions, cabbage slaw. What a treat! This was an incredibly delicious burger in the portion of fries were crisp (I like them) and generous.

Superfine Playa never disappoints. And now they have pizza. I heard that when the first pizza oven arrived that it did not live up to their standards, so they sent it back. Well, whatever they did worked. I had the Margherita pizza (plenty of fresh basil) along with a glass of Barbera wine... Delicious!

The food was excellent and the staff was nice. The two negatives were that they leave the windows and doors open at night. It was very cold in the restaurant. I like to have dinner not wishing I had brought a jacket. The second is that an Italian restaurant needs to have an espresso machine. Otherwise I nice addition to the Runwway

Excellent food and ambience. Steve Samson of Rossoblu fame runs Superfine Playa, and it shows in the quality of the food. The menu is not extensive - which means everything is special. Pastas are the standout — fazzoletti, bolognese and casarecce are all a must. The focaccia is excellent, as is the farro salad. Superfine downtown (near Rossoblu) feature the best pizza in LA. Superfine Playa has been promising pizza that is “coming soon” for months. Not sure what the hold up is, but go now anyway. And come back when the pizza is ready.

We had the breakfast plate - eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast. Delicious. We also had the lemon ricotta pancakes - always a favorite! Good service from the friendly staff. We sat on the patio - heaters available if you are cold.
