Their lunch takeout portions are getting smaller and smaller! Kids plate. Lol. Food is good, however. Owners are nice.

I feel like this review is going to be unfair, because last time we had an out of this world experience. First visit. The restaurant was completely empty. An older gentleman suggested an amazing slow braised meat in curry. It was so tender and tasteful beyond description. We waited a while for that dish. Others in my party praised the food as amazing as well. Second visit. We tried to get that meat braised in curry and received a beef version of curry chicken. Now it wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing. The food us still pretty good, but after that first visit, it's really hard to compare anything to the flavors we tasted. So, I am going to still give it a 4 stars eventhough I feel that there has definitely been a change in taste and flavor.

OH MY GOODNESS! I have been going to Chef Choy for 3 years and I just tried the Chefs specialty (General Tsao's Chicken with the Beef Chow Maine). Absolutely delicious.the General Tsao's Chicken is sweet, with a little bit of spice with some other flavors. These people are just great. Thank you for your great food and great customer service.

I sure wish I knew how the food tasted here, I left without eating. I don't think I've ever done that anywhere before. I read somewhere below that they recommended the Mongolian beef as it was "On point and fairly priced". Maybe for a lunch special? For dinner Mongolian beef was $15.95 plus $10 for fried rice if you wanted it with the meal. No rice comes with the dish. Maybe it's because I'm not from California and the prices are different here but that's just outrageous to me. I'll go somewhere else, and if it's similar over there I will delete this review. Very disappointed I didn't get to here.

The first big portion of Chinese food I had found for quite a long time, taste good too but the chili sauce was not so good. Good service.
