Yaedam Korean BBQ

Came here for the à la carte menu. I ordered a spicy tofu soup and beef short rib combo. The soup was pretty good, however, the short rib was raw. I sent back the food and when they bring back the meat, the meat was burnt.

The service from the server was unprofessional and rude. She did not apologize at all. Definitely will not be coming back!

Great customer service. Bon chon self-serve bar was alright. We liked the japchae, eggplant, and miso soup. Cheese corn had good flavor. Tofu soup was spicy but had mushrooms and zucchini so that was good. Our favorite meats that we would get again is miso pork belly, Hawaiian beef brisket, and beef bulgogi. We also didn’t try too many meats but really liked those. Thank you for wonderful customer service!

food was nothing special. was seated with no utensils or plates. the meat and apetizers was not good. the cheese corn was very clumpy and tasted a day old. not worth coming here for the price. you’re better off going to gens kbbq instead.

Not typical of any Korean BBQ I've ever been. The food was covered in ketchup which was not good. The wait staff was not attentive as they should be. And even charged us for someone else's table.

The food is so good and authentic. The waitress Esther is so cute and sweet. She is the best waitress in town. I had a great experience.

Went for Korean BBQ. Very disappointing. Service was slow. Meat was very very fatty. Banchan was sad. It was self-serve and almost tasteless. The kimchi was ok. On the plus side the bathrooms were really clean. Don't waste your money...not worth it.

This is my partner and i’s favorite Korean bbq place in the Bay Area! We are such foodies and have been to many Korean bbq places in the bay and this has outdone them all. The quality of the meat is excellent (thick 👌), it’s so clean and the food is so fresh. Plus the service is top tier!

Update.. they def changed the menu and their food. It’s okay but not as great as it was

My go-to Korean restaurant. I like their combo specials. Their bulgogi tastes like my mom’s bulgogi so I’m very biased to this place ha!

UPDATE: This place is STILL open with their same menu, they just got a sushi place open with it.

The food was terrible and the service was really bad. Sauce was spilt on my leg when the sauce trays were being served. Food tasted like crap and the portions were terrible. Saw many roaches crawling around and their salad bar was near empty. Their fries were cold and bland, and their plates had remains of people before us. Not cleaned at all.

Yaedam Korean BBQ is hands-down one of our favorite spots! The food is consistently amazing—everything is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, whether you’re there for a casual weeknight dinner or a weekend outing.

What really sets Yaedam apart, though, is the incredible service. Ester, the owner, is truly the heart of the place—she makes everyone feel like family. Her staff is just as friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a great dining experience.

This place has become one of our regular go-tos, any day of the week. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out!
