CJ's Saloon Reviews
While I hate to cheat on Martinez, CJ's is a larger, more sophisticated but not too, version of our once Ferry Street and a far less dysfunctional version of Whiskey Lane, the latter of which I frequented to write until I found CJs where you can meet new great people, or sit in your corner and write. All folks are good folks at CJs. And that's my run on sentence on that matter.
Wednesday Open Mic Alex & Friends

CJ's Saloon is a lively spot where customers can meet new people or relax in a corner. With a laid-back atmosphere, the bar is a great place to socialize, especially on Saturday nights when live Rock-n-Roll performances and dancing create a fun, energetic environment. The bar features pool tables, a nice stage area, and a rear patio, making it well planned despite its reputation as a bit of a dive bar. The crowd is lively, and there is no cover charge. While the menu is limited to snacks like chips and peanuts, customers are welcome to bring their own eats, and sometimes a taco vendor is near the patio. The bar is open at 6am every day, with friendly bartenders, including Katrina, who is known for her excellent service on weekends. The bar also hosts bands that perform a wide range of metal hits, including Metallica, drawing a great crowd. The loud music can get overwhelming, so bringing ear plugs might be a good idea. The place is popular among bikers, plant workers, and contractors, making it a fun, social spot with excellent pool tables and a good supply of fresh ice water for guests.
