Curry House

During our short stay at Pleasant Hill, visited Curry House while searching for Indian Restaurants. They serve varieties of Indian cuisine such as Samosas, Aloo Chaat, Pani Puri, Chicken Tikka, Naan, Pav Bhaji, Naan, Vada Pav and many more. As it was nearly closing time, we ordered only Soda and take away Plates of Lemon Rice with Chana Masala and White Rice with Dhal Saag. The dishes were well cooked and tasty.

I got the small bowl for $6.99. Keeping the cheap price in mind, I guess I'll bump it up a star and give them 3 stars.I got the chicken tikka masala. It looked like nothing like the photos on yelp, nor did it taste like any kind of tikka masala I've ever had, a dish I've had dozens and dozens of times. They're open now and finally got to try it. Food was okay -- not great, not bad. Ordered the curry chicken and chicken tiki masala plate and naan. All were a bit lacking in flavor. Naan was premade like packaged supermarket stuff. If I had known I would've passes on it. Maybe I'm just use to the great flavors of Naan n Curry and Anarkali Halal in Concord. The plus to this place was it was fast and the owner was very friendly and welcoming.
