Wow. This was really good. I loved dipping my chips in my clam chowder. I ordered a soup and sandwich combo. I got the tuna sandwich. It was good. I forgot to order cheese but it was fine without it. It was nice to find good soup. I would definitely return if I am in the area again soon.

For more than 20 years I have enjoyed their decent food…BUT for all those years I have had to endure the owners extremely poor attitude towards customers and service provided.Very rude, not only how they treat you but how the male owner looks and acts very honorary and the wife is not much different. As of today I decided I will never return after a reminder of how I endured the way they treat their customers.I simply asked the owner if there was anything he would recommend today and he says go talk with the lady I’m too busy to talk with a very harsh rude tone.I turned around and walked out for good.

They have the best clam chowder and seafood sandwiches that you can get outside of Fisherman's Wharf. The soup and sandwich is just right. It's not a lavish dining area but many patrons get takeout. And if you have room for dessert they have got you covered. I think they have a multitude of local regulars, us included.

The food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend them. The San Francisco food without having to drive to the city.

Really great #5!! I have been coming to this place off and on for almost 20 years. I like the croissant crab sandwich, I do add more best foods mayonnaise when I get home! I like the clam chowder too, i will say that in my twenties I thought the pepper quantity was too much, I've obviously developed a more acquired taste and can handle it now. I always finish the sandwich and half the soup, I never open the chips but appreciate the extra item. The owners are so sweet and appreciative of your business. Yes, sometimes they don't open on time, which can be frustrating but I give them grace.

Word of advice: Call first (to see if they are open) BEFORE placing any online order for that day and/or if you are deciding to do take out/dine in.8/24/23It's 12:28 PM and the restaurant is *still* closed. Their door clearly states they are open at noon. The only light that is on is towards the back end of the restaurant. Tried calling, no answer.Seems like this is an on-going issue, as we're waiting with other patrons who (in the past), have waited an hour after their said "open time".. or they didn't open at all. It's a huge guessing game at this point, so we left.I'm all for supporting local businesses, but this issue has been ignored for many months. Peep the other one-star reviews, it's there for a reason. Owners seem unbothered by their inability to follow their own schedule and that's concerning.

Unique for the area and pricing is cheap for what you are getting. I enjoyed my crab sandwich and my wife enjoyed her crab melt. The clam chowder was a bit watery but had quality seafood in it. The take cash and credit card. Friendly service and a seating inside/outside. It was pretty full by the time we left. Seems to have a lot of regulars. Come check it out, worth a try for sure!

Damn, this place is a snapshot from my home state of New York! Chicken parm sandwiches and pizza by the slice? It feels like I'm back home what a pleasant surprise!Highly recommend!
