Had a vegan ramen listed on the menu. Staff knowledgeable enough to make recommendations about vegan friendly sides. Friendly staff. Friendly owner.
I feel like for a place with ramen in their name, they should have more than 5 options that are all almost identical, no other meat options aside from pork. When we got here, the lady serving us was very quick to just get inpatient when trying to take our order and was sort of grumpy. At least food came out quick though. But the food itself wasnt even really that good in particular, it reeked of stale oil and tasted slightly burnt at times some how. The egg in my ramen was also very cold in the middle. But also, im concerned for the cleanliness of this place because the soy sauce bottle at the table seems to have no been cleaned in a while, it was very greasy and had some questionable crust in some spots... Can see the photo below for that. So yah I will definitely not be coming back here again, really not much to like about it.

The server was very cold and rude.
The food was not good either. The portion was very small (if you compare it to a place like Ramen 101). When I asked for my ramen to be served extra spicy, I wasn’t told there was a $2 extra cost to the very small portion of chilly oil that was served. It was also very pricey for the portion. It cost $24 for 1 person - with a request to make it extra spicy(usually doesn’t have a cost) and getting black garlic oil(which I know would cost but $2 was too much for the small portion).
Hopefully, they look at the review and try to improve.
Definitely would recommend Ramen 101 over this place, the broth is tasty, the portion is big and the people are very hospitable.

After a long trip from Manila to San Francisco, we stopped by Haya Ramen to satisfy my 6-year-old niece’s craving for ramen.
The food? Well, it wasn’t bad—but coming from the amazing Japanese restaurants back home in the Philippines and the authentic spots in Japan, this just didn’t cut it for me.
Tempura – Crispy, yes, but it lacked that light, airy crunch I’ve come to expect. The dipping sauce didn’t do much to enhance the experience either.
Gyoza – Golden and perfectly fried, but the flavor fell flat. They were fine, but not memorable.
Takoyaki – Generously topped with bonito flakes, but the filling was a bit too doughy for my taste.
The ramen itself looked good, but the taste left much to be desired. It wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t hit the high notes I was hoping for. I think after being spoiled by the quality of Japanese food back home, this just didn’t quite match up to those standards.
Overall, it was an okay meal, but I’ll definitely be on the lookout for a ramen place that delivers the punch we were hoping for after a long flight.

The soup was a little salty, and the noodles felt very dry, not the best vegan ramen I’ve ever had but certainly not bad either.
Intro: Good Ramen
Pros:
-the spicy ramen was amazing
-the service was fast
-clean environment
-not crowded (when I went)
Cons:
-the salt and pepper chicken wings were terrible. Not season at all and one of the pieces needed to cook longer
Overall: recommend the ramen only. Especially the spicy. One of the best spicy ramens I’ve had.

I really loved my tonkatsu reman bowl that I had here. The pork was sliced very thin and was quite tasty. The corn, red cabbage, and soft egg really added a nice bit of contrast. The service was efficient and attentive. The atmosphere was a bit cramped but didn't detract from the experience!

I've always had the vegetarian ramen. It's really good. I go there all the time for my ramen cravings.

Out of all of the local ramen shops I’ve tried I found this one to be the most flavorful and highest quality/fresh. The shop is cute inside with warm lighting. Waiter was prompt with water, requests, etc.Reading the other reviews, it sounds like ownership took note and improved the customer service. I’m not a spicy food person, so I can’t evaluate spice level but they were very accommodating with my requests and you are able to pick your spice level - I’d imagine if you want something spicier they would be happy to add more heat! The food did take a minute, but it was totally worth it.

The restaurant was very understaffed. Unfortunately, we always needed to flag down the only server who worked on a busy rainy Saturday. The owner needs to reevaluate the schedule and accommodate their employees if they want to keep them around for long.We ordered edamame, shrimp tempura and Tonkatsu ramen. My niece definitely loved the edamame and shrimp tempura so much that I needed to ask the server to give us a second order. The Tonkatsu ramen was mediocre but reasonable price. Unfortunately, it lacked flavor compared to what I've had in Southern California (Orange County to be exact). It is a very small restaurant. It is harder for larger parties to get seated as walk in due to the small tables and chairs. There may be a long wait time if you need to dine in.

Nice looking place, food looks very good but taste so so. I asked to sit outside bc the server and the cook were talking very loudly in Chinese! When I received my ramen it was lukewarm on the top and hot on the bottom. Egg was cold inside, (apparently bc the weather was hot that day according to server) after i told server the ramen wasn't hot instead of apologizing and fixing it, she argued w me that they always boil the ramen, and that bc today is hot we have to leave in the cooler and than warm up. Wow!At least the tea was hot....Three stars is more than fair rating

Not sure if the owners read the reviews, but hope they take the feedback to improve the service. The food is ok - overall quality of ingredients are good, though hit or miss sometimes. While there are much better ramen shops in other parts of the Bay, it's at least close to us and we'd support it more if they made an effort with their customer service, which we found cold and not welcoming. It didn't help the overall experience. It also takes a long time to get service. At one point I had to walk to the register to ask for more water (and agree with the other reviewer, the water was warm and a little off tasting). As a mom & pop shop, I want so see them thrive.I know they can do better and really hope they take time to research and educate themselves on enhancing customer experience.
