Great place to hang your hat after a long day . Friendly kinda local place with generous portions. Not your gourmet kinda place but more like the local "Cheers" hangout. Comfortable place to go alone and watch a game.

Food was not the best but not bad either, blood orange beer was great. The service was kind of slow even when it wasn't too full. Bartender was very nice.

Ordered the prime rib special with a side of brussel sprouts. They only pan fried the brussel sprouts and didn't cut the stems off. Very hard and raw. Needed to be baked. For me I don't like the meat too rare so they did pan fry it for me to order. Friendly staff but severely understaffed. I don't drink so I don't know about the bar service.

Very nice place food is amazing. This is my second time coming and will be coming more often. Our server was sweet girl name Huda she was very friendly. I love the bread!!!

Cheers-like bar atmosphere. Mediocre food. I had a burger that was dry and tasteless as day-old popcorn. Go for the drinks and avoid the food.

Came here for TNF. Was surprisingly quiet, so we had our pick of the tables and took over the main screen area. Drinks were delivered promptly, and our food was better than we expected. Will be back here for sure!

A nice sports bar with screens around the bar and dining area. I ordered the mushroom burger, which was very good and a decent size portion as I was able to eat it all without boxing!

Worst thing about the place is blowhard patrons loudly holding forth about their fantasy football picks. But it's a bar with a soft sports theme, so what do you want?Small enough to be intimate, large enough that it doesn't feel claustrophobic. The wait staff have an excellent attitude are reliable, and prompt. They have *superb* fish and chips, which is one of the dishes that I rely on to indicate the overall quality of the food at a given restaurant. It's a very hard dish to get right, they hit it right on the button, and that skill and quality carries right on through to the rest of their food.I highly recommend this place if you want a bar & grill experience that is not homogenized and corporate.

Went in for a refreshment. Ordered a beer looked at menu, decided on fish and chips and substituted tater tots for fries based on plate I saw nearby. Food arrived with Cole slaw as described. What a disappointment. Menu discription stated Sierra Nevada beer battered fish? Nope. What I got was more like deep fried bread crusted fish. 3 pieces about the size of 2 fingers. Normally I would have to order extra tarter source.... Not this time not enough fish to use half of a small condiment cup. When food arrived I sat looking at my food for more then 10 minutes to see if server would notice my disappointment. She waited until I ran out of food and drink to ask how I was doing. I commented " check please". F- service and food.

First time eating at Magoo's. The prices were low. We had the ribeye steak, salmon and the chicken wing appetizer. The wings were super salty- crusted in salt. The steak was okay and the asparagus and potatoes pieces that came with it were burnt and very salty. My friend had the salmon and the brussel sprouts were very charred and dry but the salmon was good. Service was slow and it took quite a while for the food to arrive.

Love, love this place, however, while checking business hours I checked out the Happy Hour drink prices. $5 Lemon Drops and Wine? Count us in! When we arrived the bartender could not honor the Happy Hour prices and that they indeed did not have a happy hour. She also stated that they were waiting on new management to organize happy hours and the website. We were very disappointed and will not return until Magoo"s management team can get it together. Come on guys, it's football season!

Bartender was nice... food was gross... well the tatot tots were ok ... the buffalo chicken wrap had itty bitty peices of chewy chicken and it was not really good at all.. the ranch was the worst ranch ive ever had .. i dont even know if it was ranch lol

Went to their Thursday Thursday Night Prime Special. The restaurant was nice , clean, with dining rooms away from the noisy bar. The serving staff was friendly prompt. The food was tasty with big helpings but the steer the prime rib came from must have had a hard life because that piece of prime rib was sure tough and hard to chew.

Unfortunately I think I may have gone in on a bad day. The drinks just weren’t up to par, and the food. The food tasted old. Ordered what was supposed to be a whisky sour and it came out on a tall beer glass…weird? Then noticed as we were eating the bartender had their foot on the counter where the alcohol was. Honestly. This was enough for us to not go back. I hate leaving not good reviews. Everyone was nice, but unfortunately nice doesn’t always mean good or quality. I’m sure their meals are great. Appetizers. Not so much.

Too bad!! Used too really like this place... but what the heck is going on here? NEW BOUJEE cook doesnt want to cook lunch?! Like seriously? No lunch or even the past really good bar food? Went in at 12:30 on a Saturday and was offered a crappy printed brunch menu that is ALL BREAKFAST! This is a BAR?!?! VERY very disappointing. 2nd time trying to go in after the change of cooks and unfortunately this place is doomed for failure. Used to be packed with locals and regulars, now its cricket sounds and empty. Ownership should make a revisit or perhaps they just don't care. Too too bad :-( This was our 2nd time trying to come back for lunch. Bartenders are good but they must feel the difference also. JUST SAD.
