You know who the more seasoned servers are- I know you have to learn along the way but they call it shadowing for a reason. If you want to work, get great tips, pay attention, have integrity, and huddle. Get off your damn phone, refill drinks, cold plates come with the salad and always provide a pizza server with a hot pizza. Ask if the customer wants pepper or Parmesan cheese on their salad/pizza. Besides that the food is always amazing every single item. The seasoned servers know who they are and I always ask to sit in their section!

Good is great but service is NOT. We just ordered two large pizzas that cost us $82. EIGHTY TWO DOLLARS. I asked for ranch and cheese. Sienna at the counter hands me one of each. I said we have two large pizzas and you're only giving me one? Sienna gives me this little smirk, shrugs her shoulders and rolls her eyes. The other kid at the counter reaches down reaches down and gives me one more - don't overdue yourselves there... $0.25 in ranch for an $82 bill and I get... two. So I ask the girls name and she, again, gives me this completely rude and condescending smile, says sienna and I said thanks. She goes oh you bet. In this economy, I'm not sure Melos wants to push customers back to Devinos but yet here we are. This is why I don't tip when I pick up my own food. They charge you a mint then treat you like you owe them something for doing nothing. Do better, Melos. Do better, Sienna. Melos should be embarrassed by her attitude and service for what they charge.

I hate to give bad reviews but I think this review should be shared with the hope that service can be improved for everyone's benefit. Last night I took my sons to dine at Melos for my son's birthday because i know the food quality is outstanding and typically the service is also great however this particular night the service was awful. We were only served partial order. All the other tables around us were served their full order and ate until we were the only ones left in the area. Some received their full complement orders before us as we ordered before them. We were the only ones not eating and waiting. It puzzles me why the waitress ignored us and did not wait on us nor did she write down our oder. We were finally served hastily when I confronted her about the rest of our order and instead of taking responsibility of her mistake she made some lame excuse of the mix up. I knew and I think she knew I was on to her and although she was embarrassed she did not act like an adult and take ownership of this mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes but I respect people more when they apologize and show Empathy for their mistakes. The fact that I got the bill and there was no reduction for this inconvenience on my son's birthday is disappointing or at least an offer to get him a desert would have been a nice gesture. Anyways I get it it's a small business and serving people and making them happy is a difficult job but ignoring us while we were very cordial with the waitress is not the way to treat a customer. I am a customer who when I am served well tip more than 25% but in this case I was not served well and although I had caused to not tip well, I still tipped 15%. I want to be on record that Melos has always had great food and the service I have previously experienced until last night has been great. For last nights experience I give Melos a one star for not properly paying attention to us.

A family friendly restaurant with lots of options including really good pizza, really good salads, and pasta. They are frequently busy, which can overwhelm the staff a bit, so please be patient. During busy times the parking lot can be very full, but there is street parking nearby if necessary. It’s become our “go to” place for a good tasting casual meal.

Typical pizza place. Servers are friendly and efficient. I had the BBQ chicken pizza and did not like it, my wife thought it was great. Everyone else liked the food.
