Mountain mikes pizza is our absolute favorite pizza, it never disappoints. The new management was running around and working so incredibly hard to meet customers needs tonight while the power was out and there was a little bit of a wait! We appreciated their hard work and kindness.

We got to the restaurant at the end like 20 minutes left of the buffet lunch and the manager was kind enough to make us a pizza of our choice for the price of the buffet lunch so we got our pizzas and they were nice and fresh.

ok so heres the context and a general checklist. context: going to meet my brothers after work to have pizza for one of their bdays. checklist: 1) the staff (it was two guys) first approached me by saying: did you order/what do you want? rather, i find its more professional to ask "how I can help/may i take your order. ". 2) im waiting for my brothers to arrive, one of the two shows up. then the same staffer immediately rushed with something to the effect: do you know your order? what do you want to order? again, hospitality at an awkward level. for the record we already talked about we wanted to get in previous conversations: a Mt. Chicken Club and whatever apps the bday wanted to pile on. one staffer showed me a old menu, ie the Mt was $35.99 i think, then the screen on wall showed $47.99. so lets say its + 20% ok sure, but the quality didnt meet the price either. our order: Mt Chicken Club, garlic knots, bbq 1/2lb boneless wings. the wings came first, they were inconsistent. my brother spit one out because it was cold/raw in the center. i had a few where the center was warmish but the edges were cold. so my brother tells the staff about this: staffer responds with "I cooked this twice.". ok so either youre telling me your equipment is wrong/needs maintenance for the heating element or you cant identify raw/cold food. staff gives us a weird stare then proceeds to take whatever remaining wings we had back says "ill make a new batch". our batch came after the garlic knots anx then mt. Chicken club. pretty confident he didnt throw out the the whole order and just added new wings to it. it came about 15-20 mins later. staffer said " i cooked it 3 times this time." and its funny bc the wings had crispy/crunch to it this time around. shouldve taken video/photo. garlic knots were ok, cooked fine. for the records ive worked at Mountain Mikes before, know the weighing of ingredients and flavor for sure. i used to enjoy the lunch buffets. Mt Chicken Club review: -barely any flavor from the "creamy garlic sauce.". couldnt tell is was even present. -the green onions, bacon, tomatoes were very frugal. -dough cooked alright. the takeaway: cup half full. salad bar: they had pepperoni. usually its bacon right? ive never seen pepperoni at a salad bar lol. also they had chili flake shakers, parmesan cheese was only packets, which is weird too. i shouldve taken photos. definitely wont go back again, or at least to this location. i wouldve never thought i couldve spent that $100 for somewhere else, literally there was a cool taqueria next door.

YUMMMMMM...... worked late & didn't feel like cooking. Hubs called in for pizza delivery and it was absolutely delicious. Ali came with our pizza super fast & was extremely nice & respectful. Thank you for the 5+ star service this evening. We appreciate you.

I was meeting friends at Farrington's and we ordered from Mountain Mike's since it was close by and I don't think Farrington's does bar food. I've also ordered from them back in 2020. Since lockdown took a lot of normal traditions away, my mom wanted to just have pizza for Mother's Day 2020. The food hasn't changed in a bad way. It's kinda greasy, it's ok food. I realized that Mountain Mike's only really hit the spot because we had a couple drinks, and that was it. If we weren't a bit buzzed, then we'd never think of coming here. The people on the food and rang up our orders were really nice though, and you could have a decent room level conversation with them when ordering food. It's serviceable.

Mountain Mike's brings back memories of growing up in Sacramento! Stopped in for my TGTG pickup. A generous amount. The shop owner was a nice man so an extra star for niceness. They are located in the same strip mall as Safeway. It was a little hard to spot at 1st. They are tucked away in the right hand side corner. Parking lot and parking was easy, not an issue. It's a small pizza place, a bit on the older side this strip mall.

FYI under new horrible cheap management! So me and my husband went for lunch got 2 pizza buffets. The order came to almost $30 for 2 ppl with drinks included. first of all the soda fountain did not have any soda and the cashier says oh yes we're waiting for the soda to come I said ok and that's all he says . I said well can I get a bottled soda he gives us a bottled one. the salad bar has old veggies and the lettuce was not washed properly . the pizza you can tell it had been out it was hard and cold . Ok they bring new pizza out after waiting maybe 15 min.The new pizza first of all the pizza had no Marina sauce it tasted very dry . Out of all the years I've been to this place I have never had a bad experience until now. never again will i spend money at this place.
