We were in the area shopping and decided to check the spot out (thanks to a recommendation from Yelp)We were immediately greeted by 2 gals at the door and seated outside under the covered patio. Nice area, I don't recall if it was heated, but they did have tv's, and it was decently busy that day.We were promptly welcomed by our server. He was attentive, witty, and suggested a few things he thought we would enjoy.Within a few minutes, we had our food and drinks...all was great! The spicy buffalo chicken salad is spicy!Really good!If you're in the area- you should go!

Jack's is a family diner destination. I have a new favorite Fish and Chips. No need to find an Irish pub if you live within driving distance from Jack’s. The portion size was surprising. Jack’s serves three large fillets of Alaskan Cod dipped in their beer batter. The cod was light and flaky.

The fish in chips were amazing. Loved it. Overall it felt a little like a remodeled Dennys... in a bad way. The bathrooms are located up a large curved staircase... which I didn't didn't feel like climbing... so I just didn't go (there is an elevator, I just didn't wanna sit waiting to give up one floor either). It's fine. I would like to try the burgers and may be back for that.

Family owned with amazing stories, great bar staff (Jack and Juan). Huge menu selection including alcohol from breakfast, lunch, happy hours to dinner. Fast service and customers talking to stranger like me. Enjoyed the raspberry lemon drop, grand Manhattan, and cucumber cocktails with zucchini cakes.

Really clean interior, the service was very prompt. The bourbon selection (mid range) was very minimal, not very top shelf selection. The old fashioned was made well, the steak was med rare exactly how it was ordered and had a good flavor. The veggies was under cooked, wasn't steamed all the way. The zucchini and squash was perfect but the broccoli and carrots were still hard. Mash potatoes was blane but tasted fresh.Food 3 stars; service 4 stars

It was good. Fries were a bit salty. I'll have to return a few more times to have a more substantial review. Lamb meatballs were very good. Pumpkin bread pudding was yummy. I felt like I was missing something thou...maybe pasta for the meatballs. It was a fair visit. Meatballs, fries& desert totaled $30+. Servers get a 5star alone. They were attentive, fast&friendly.

Enticing menu, good drinks. I tried the lamb meatballs and the Ruben sandwich with oregano garlic fries. The food is good and prices very reasonable. The meatballs were good although a bit dry. I decided to try them because they use mint as an ingredient, something I would like seeing more of. The tomato sauce was a bit overwhelming and the mint definitely added to the meat's flavor, when you could taste it (more on that in a minute). The Ruben is made with thousand islands dressing, which some restaurants have sadly moved away from. The corned beef is lean and of good quality. So here's the 'but' and it is largely on me: the food is noticeably salty. For the past 5 years, I have cut back on my sodium intake, and others will likely feel different about it. If, however, you are like me, pace yourself and order more water... Good restaurant, but I'm unlikely to try it again.

We came here for breakfast soon after opening. Service was great. They gave me a pineapple mimosa, even though it wasnt on the menu. Food was hot. Flavors went well together. Coffee was endless. Only negative I have is that I expected the portion of the hangover to be a bit more. Still looking forward to going back for dinner sometime.

Great happy hour and food selection. I come here a lot with my partner, or to meet up with friends and family. This picture was taken when I came alone, for dessert and cocktails. I ordered their rich pumpkin bread pudding. My bartender then recommended the delicious espresso martini.

Wow! One of the best Korean Resturant I have ever tried! The kimchi sizzler was amazing she recommended the best noodle soup for our son since he is the fan of ramen, she also recorded the strawberry milk which we ended up buying more for later! The owner gave my son two pack of choco pie for free! Food and service were both phenomenally great! I am gonna be back soon

Love Pleasant Hill downtown area...all 4-5 blocks. Its a great little area that packs a punch of useful businesses. Unfortunately being hit hard by covid...has effected some stores minced out. All in all...I believe it will stay relevant.. Has a great movie theater, I think it's Century, Zachary pizza, Hallmark, golf/sports store, five guy burgers, urban plates, cold stone ice cream, Mediterranean rest, ramen place, Carter's baby clothes, Bed & Bath, Michael's, ...a few past stores large hardware store, massage envy, buffet style rest & Italian rest. Right now is probably closer to a 4, butt I've frequented for a few yrs...5 star of casual, useful locations, great date night/ family friendly place....and GREAT parking available.

I love this place. It's affordable, delicious, and just a five minute drive from home. You can't go wrong with anything here, except the Philadelphia roll. Cream cheese doesn't belong in sushi. Some of my favorites here are the Nama, the Lion King, baked scallop, Mia, Alaska, 49ers, and ikura nigiri. Thank goodness they're still open, because they've been my go-to place for sushi during my Covid cravings. I'm looking forward to when the situation improves and we can eat indoors again, because I've been wanting fresh sushi and not having to wait until I get home to consume. Also pro tip: If you shop at the Safeway in the same strip mall as Nation's, the back of the Safeway receipts have coupons for Nama, good for $5 off $25 orders or $10 off for $50+ orders. I'm not sure if the other Safeways in Pleasant Hill do that as well. Just something to keep in mind.

Great spot to pick up sushi. They have a good selection, and everything was made to look beautiful and taste delicious. As we are all living with delivery/take out in 2020, they are doing a good job in making sure your meal holds up to travel and is still good by the time you get home. Very friendly and my order was ready on time.

I eat a lot of Sushi but the quality of the sushi is so delicious. My favorites are their lion king roll, baked scalloped roll, and shrimp tempura roll. And their rice plates/bento boxes are amazing. So clean and fresh tasting. I'm so happy they are near where I live. Definitely my husband and I's favorite place. The owners are lovely as well! Support them and your will be so surprised how yummy their food is. Seriously the best!

we ordered pick up. I have never been to this Nama sushi before and it was very very good. We had some unusual food, for us, Curry shrimp. And some other usual sushi dishes. The salmon sashimi was so fresh and melted in our mouth. The spicy salmon rolls very Very good. The order was on time, and accurate and pick up was easy. This is a nice place, this location has been several restaurants over the past few years, and I hope this one makes it. We will definitely be back
