I used to eat at this restaurant often. I went there once last week. I ordered the signature maocai. When the food came, there were really as many things as in the picture, only a few vegetarian dishes. A bowl cost more than 20 yuan, and many things were not put in. Grilled oysters were 4.99. Isn't this bullying? Also, my husband forgot to bring his clothes. When he went to pick them up the next day, the front desk said that the clothes were gone. I will never go to this restaurant again.

I had the worst dining experience here last Friday. We were a party of two and initially received our food in a reasonable amount of time, as there were only 2–3 other tables occupied. However, things went downhill when we placed an additional order around the same time a larger group with kids arrived and ordered a lot of food.
Although both our orders were submitted around the same time, their table kept receiving food while we got nothing. When we asked the waitress about our order, she was extremely rude and claimed that our food takes longer to prepare (we only ordered 4 extra items, seriously?).
Eventually, we gave up, asked for the check (that was fast for them to do), and left. There were still parts of our order missing at the time we left. I don’t understand why we were treated this way. Honestly, it felt like discrimination. The only difference I could see was that we were students, and the other group appeared to be more “adult” and could potentially tip more, I guess.

Food is delicious but size is small. So it’s a bit expensive cuz I need to order a lot. If you just want to try and don’t expect to feel full, this is a very good place.

I like the casual feel and the variety of skewers available. My favorites were the beef, lamb, and sweet potato! Their chili oil is a great addition to the skewers as well.

The skewers were okay and that’s about it. The customer service is an absolute joke and the servers looked like they were working first day on the job. They had trouble figuring out which table is which and served tables that had just order and took forever to serve tables that have been waiting 20+ minutes for their food. The servers don’t even speak mandarin and the restaurant is Chinese. Do not come here, it’s not worth the time and it’s not worth the money.

My favorite spot to stop at when I'm in the area, their beef skewers are the best! So juicy and flavorful
I'm confused by the lack of recent reviews.. i went here the other night because they were open til 11:45pm which is awesome cus i clock out at 11.. went with a safe order, some zhangzhou rice n a couple chx skewers.. this place is the real deal whoevers reading this, you can safely ignore the old shitty reviews. The food was just insanely good.. not a particularly complicated dish but its one of those.. anyone can do this but few have mastered it* 100% worth it to try this place out. Happy new year everyone ^_^,!,,!

Kinda quiet during my visit. I am surprised this place is not packed full. These are tasty BBQ skewers. Yum... I got 10 skewers and it's perfect for a snack. Service was very good and fast. However, the food was kinda cold when it got to my table. A definitely must try and these shops are rare in this area. Aside from skewers, they have other tasty dishes, drinks and deserts. If you want to, you can do dinner there. For me spending like $32 includes tax is good enough if you don't want to over eat. They open happy hours 4:30pm to midnight. Perfect for after work snack or hang out place with snacks.
