I've ordered from here in the past no problem, my order was cancelled out of the blue. Pretty disappointed, was craving one of their veggie pizzas...

Customer service over the phone was good. I ordered the margarita pizza and the combination. The margarita pizza looked sooooo good! However when I took a bite, did my taste it really lacked the flavor. Combination was your typical combination pizza. I would recommend this place for the customer service and if you have a more blan taste pallet.

We decided to try a new pizza place and went here. We also got some garlic bread ... which had don't kind of white stuff on it? Nowhere on the website or menu does anything say the garlic bread has anything on it .. let alone what looked, and tasted, like - cream cheese?? We're honestly confused why the garlic bread had anything on it let alone cream cheese? I've never heard of such a thing and even less heard of ordering garlic bread ANYWHERE and getting some flat white pasty cheese on top of it WITHOUT acknowledging that it's there on a menu or anything. I think the house was scared by that. I don't really have anything to say about the pizza. It was pizza - nothing more, nothing less. Seriously though, if you put "garlic bread" on a menu without any description, I'd think MOST people would assume it's bread with garlic and maybe oil/butter somewhere. I don't know anybody who's put cream cheese (or what was that?!?) on the bread without saying anything. Edit - The Slice app has a description but nowhere does it say cheese of any kind. Nice. I just got reminded that we ordered extra cheese on one of two pizzas and the one with extra cheese actually had (slightly) LESS cheese than the other pizza with meat. Bah. It's a write-off I guess. No point going back and forth across town to wait to get corrected food or wait who knows how long for a delivery to arrive. What an annoying experience.

Tonight we ordered for the second time through grubhub. When our food arrived about 45 mins later we noticed that there was an incorrect item (a calzone instead of a pizza). I called right away to let them (Hot Spot Pizzaria) know of the error. Without any issue, they promptly made our pizza and it was delivered within 20 mins. The person who delivered our pizza was Luis (one of the owners) he explained that when the order came through grubhub it did in fact say calzone, so technically it was not their fault but grubhub's error. Luis was apologetic for the mistake, took time to deliver the pizza himself and encouraged us to order directly from them next time. We take his actions and solid effort in making our order right; to heart! We both own small businesses and it's not always easy especially when you're dealing w customers who aren't always appreciative, kind and understanding. But without a flinch, Luis made it right (even though it wasn't his fault) and now because of this great experience, we can call this place our local pizza spot and will continue to support this small business! Thanks Luis... you have integrity and we only want you to thrive and prosper!

Great local pizzeria. We are very lucky to have this place in our neighborhood. Fresh ingredients, clean, and a super friendly staff. Order pick up or delivery. Not a sit down type of restaurant.

Decided not to cook on NYE and happened to see Hot Spot Pizzeria in my Weekly Picks. Hot Spot is a new pizza shop that opened about 6 months ago and shares the same space as Sirens Deli. They're located right next to Pleasant Hill Market off of Grayson and Pleasant Hill Road. We frequent quite a few pizzerias in the area but normally get our neighborhood pizza from the RT on Oak Park Blvd. Haven't had much luck with them lately though as they skimp on toppings, cheese and sauce and are pretty expensive for what you actually get, but I digress. I placed a phone order and the pizza and wings were ready in under 30 minutes. We ordered our usual extra large Pepperoni, Mushroom and Sausage ($24.99) and well done Buffalo wings ($8.99) Our pizza had a generous amount of toppings, cheese and sauce and the crust was amazing. It was soft, fluffy and airy. I've mentioned before in another review that I've tried making pizza dough during quarantine a few times and I can really appreciate a good dough now. There's a noticeable difference between okay pizza dough and fantastic pizza dough and Hot Spot is spot on! The buffalo wings were nice and sauce-y but not well done as requested. Popped them in the oven to crisp them up so not a biggie. Overall, happy to try a new local pizza joint, the shop was super clean, service was fast and friendly, the staff gave my husband a coupon for our next visit. I'm stoked to report they've won us over and are going to be our go-to neighborhood pizza shop--just wish we had tried them sooner! Highly recommend them and will be back in a couple of weeks. ***They also have a 20% off your first purchase with their yelp check in.*** COVID-19 RESPONSE All employees and customers wear masks. You pay inside, wait outside and they'll bring out your order.

The Hot Spot is the most recent pizza place we've tried and it immediately became our favorite. The food is delicious, plus the service is fast, courteous, and caring. This is now our go to pizza place!

That pizza is so good! The service is nice and fast too. Also, I tasted sandwiches and they are delicious! Highly recommended this place to order by phone and take out. For COVID they don't let eat inside but the service is fast to take out.

I came here last night after a long day of work and ordered a half pepperoni and half Hawaiian bbq, it was one of the best pizzas i have had in a long time! Highly recommended, great food and service! They also included an amazing cheese bread on the house since it was my first time! Love it!

We're a family of pizza lovers and Hot Spot did not disappoint. Like many others in the area, we haunt the local private and chain pizza restaurants. While those places are good, the crust and fresh ingredients Hot Spot uses are definitely superior. Our favorite is the chicken pesto, which is a real treat. The bad news is that even if you get an extra large, you may not have enough for lunch leftovers, because it's that good! Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

If you want a perfect individual portion of Pepperoni Pizza this is the SPOT... my kids love it and I'm happy I can eat there too. They still offer most of the same things the Deli had but now they offer delicious pizza. The owners and staff are super friendly too (that makes a world of difference) which we need now in 2020 more than ever.

Didn't do it for us. Ordered a chicken garlic Supreme and a pepperoni.Bland flavor and the texture was off. Dough recipe doesn't seem dialed in...

My path of exploring new places in the Walnut Creek area leads me to The Hot Spot Pizzeria. I was worried because this place was new and all reviews were 5 stars. But my innate curiosity was bigger than my fears. It is a kinda cozy place. First of all, you can find sitting places outside (about 2 or 3 tables). These tables stay very smart, in the shadow under the roof, so you can feel cool even on a sunny day. There is a pretty big parking spot, behind the building, so there is no problem with parking. The place itself has a good position, near the parks. So you can spend a good time with pizza somewhere outside. The area inside is not too big. It supposes to be a sitting area, but not right now. So you can make your order and take a seat outside while waiting for it. I decided to take an opportunity and ordered combination: chicken garlic supreme and meat lovers pizza (half pizza for each one). The staff was very friendly. I waited for my order for about 10 min.I would say the pizza was very delicious, nice dough, much meat, and filling. I was pleasantly surprised, that the waiter gave my shredded parmesan and chili flakes for free.I definitely recommend this place. Not because we should support our community in these times, especially new places, but because they make a really good and delicious pizza! I will return here to try their sandwiches and something else from the menu.
