Horrible customer service and the food. Also horrible experience with an online order. My husband drove 50 mins to satisfied my craving, but the order that was placed online was given all incorrect. I tried contacting the restaurant right after the order was placed to confirm the order had gone through , but they kept on hold for more than 30 mins than they hung up. I was never able to confirm my order. I was very very disappointed with the food I received .Again I contacted the restaurant twice to make them aware of their errors again no answer. It will greatly appreciated if the employees in this restaurant would be careful when they make the orders. I don't think I will be going to this restaurant ever again. Totally disappointed. The photos represent the photos below describe the quality.

I ordered the Mexican Street Corn bowl and it literally had no corn in it. I'm not very picky but my bowl was so salty that I couldn't eat it. I'll be having a frozen dinner tonight and it will be much better food than this restaurant serves.

I've been a fan of Rubio's since they opened. The food is consistently good, though it's gotten a bit pricy. My go to is the original chicken taco. Always delicious. My hubby is the seafood lover and he absolutely Ioves the variety of fish taco options available. When our son was a kid the quesadillas here were his favorite and also the churros. Now that he's an adult and trying new things, I really want him to come in and try the fish tacos. Dinner last night was delicious and the staff friendly. My only issue is the guacamole and chips. For almost $5, we got a small spoonful of quac, on top of some chips. While it tasted wonderful, it wasn't worth the price. We will be back, because we really do love the food and friendly service.

Great deal on Taco Tuesday. However, waiting 35min for four tacos was not good. Also, the salsa bar was empty and had to notify staff to refill. You would think short staffed, but there were plenty of staff. They just were not smart how they moved around. One trip at a time that could be sequenced better.

Went here yesterday with my sister after a day of shopping and the food was subpar. The fish for the taco was heavily breaded and undercooked. Went to get salsa from the salsa bar and noticed dozens of fruit flies all over the walls. Went back to my table and a customer next to us found hair in their nachos.I would not recommend this place to anyone which is sad because this was one of my favorites. My sister had never been and I hadn’t been in years.Save yourself the trip find something else.

Rubios has gone downhill, in all aspects space and form. Customer service horrible every time the phone lines are static lots of noisy background. Food is overpriced for a small amount, I ordered the chopped salad and the salmon I get is a sliver of a slice. It's not worth it, I don't like the phone ordering system that they now have zero option but going in to order. It's a restaurant and you should be able to have take out phone orders without just the catering option available. People and communities have tight schedules and can't wait for the food to be processed before done. They really need to change this system. To open phone orders like they have before. For this I had to withdraw even giving them my business. I rather go to chipotle, Subway, and other restaurants that are open to phone orders. Hopefully the prices can be more reasonable, Or add more food for the amount of cost. Really defeats the purpose!!

I normally don't have a problem here, but lately their customer service has been lacking and their food has been mediocre. Yesterday I came in and the guy there didn't even greet me when I went to get my pick-up order. He looked mean and like he didn't even want to be bothered. I also asked for one of the free tote bags for Ocean Day and he asked for a coupon, which Rubio's doesn't do anymore and it wasn't on the app. I told him it was supposed to be free with purchase just by asking. He just came over and kind of tossed the bag toward me without saying anything and walked away Absolutely no communication or customer service skills whatsoever and super rude. They also didn't add the salsas I requested for pick-up on the app to my order, so I had to go to the salsa bar and pick out all the salsa myself. I am REALLY tired of this happening here. One time I had an employee ask if I wanted to pick out the salsas myself or have her get them. Ummmmm, I requested them on the app and my order is TO-GO. It's your job to get the salsas from the fridge, not mine, and I don't want to take up the whole salsa bar getting them and interfere with other people. PLEASE tell your employees this. What is the point of picking out salsas on the app if you aren't going to add them to to the order?? It's super frustrating and annoying.I also feel like their food is not as good as it used to be. Portions have gotten smaller and sometimes they forget items. Their chips are also really hard, which I hate, and sometimes they add something INCREDIBLY spicy to the California bowl that causes my mouth to practically catch on fire. The bowl is not supposed to be that spicy, so I have no clue what the heck they put in it sometimes that is like that.I don't think I'll be coming back to this location for a long time if they keep having such rude customer service and not great quality food.

Will never be returning to this location. The crew has left hairs in my 2 of my burritos and gotten my order wrong for the third time now. Was also kind of gross the amount of sweat the workers endure behind the counter as if it’s going to drip on the food

Have not been to Rubios for probably four years. Was in the neighborhood and remembered they have a Tuesday specials - so I bought two fish taco for $1.99 each which is a good deal since it's normally $3.99. I liked the soft taco shell and the fish was tasty with shredded lettuce and some sauce.I deducted one star ony because it was a long wait surprisingly. There were a few people before me and I could see there were many online orders based on the bags on the shelf waiting for pick up.You can scoop more sauce (of different spice level) in little plastic clear tubs if you want.Complete the survey on your receipt. Write down the unique code on the receipt and redeem it within a week for a free regular fountain drink or dessert.

Big fan of Rubio's but like any fast food spot, their food can be hit or miss. You order and pay at the counter. They give you a number to take with you. You grab your own salsa, drink, and you pick a table. Their menu consists of their classics and they frequently come up with new items to try. We love their nachos and churros.

Best mango mahi fish tacos especially for a fast food place and I will drive outta my way to get it but I'm a little irritated because yesterday after ordering just my tacos I just so happened to notice the cashier charged me for a drink I did not ask for. I usually don't review my receipt and maybe thats what they're hoping for so I asked him why he charged me for a drink and his response was "I thought you wanted one". I said - I didn't, but then why didn't you hand me a cup then?? So that completely put me off from coming to this location again. The receipt had a link for a survey but of course it didn't work. I don't like feeling like I got taken advantage of especially after I even gave them a tip. He should've refunded me for my drink but he didn't. Instead they just lost a customer.

Tried tacos and lobster burrito. Tacos were good but 2 for 10$ too much. Lobster was not fresh and we didn’t eat the burrito, it went to trash. Rice and chips were not nice. Place not worth coming here

Same as Always, not only do they always get my very easy order wrong, but I only return because my husband likes your fish taco. Not too long ago the Vallejo location closed, I was happy thinking I Wouldn't have to eat there again. But there is a location near where I go for my cancer treatments, so my husband always wants to stop I always take a deep breath because they never get my order right. I only ever get a bean burrito with cheese and sour cream, well ok I never get that, but that is what I order 3 simple ingredients on a flour tortilla. It always has salsa, or onions, or something i don't want on it, if they use the salsa that has onion tomatoes ect.... I have never got home and enjoyed my food because they can't seem to do this simple thing right. And as I said they closed the one close by so getting food driving over 15 miles home, I'm not getting back in the car driving all the way back and paying an additional toll bridge fee to return an 8$ burrito and that's the other thing 8$ for what is supose to be a flour tortilla some beans cheese and sour cream. I can get the same thing at taco bell for 2$ and 9 times out of 10 they get it right.UHGGGG, I always know when my husband wants to get food here that I will end up with a pb and j sandwich for dinner. The last time I didn't even bother to order because what's the point is just going in the trash anyway
