Went out for lunch with 3/10/24 Sichuan is located in a quiet area. Outside, no wannabe macho men making vehicular racket. Inside, no misbehaving parents training their children to be noisy neighbors. My not so clean daughter had Some Nerve to complain about smudge in her teacup. The waiter explained that "the cups are clay and the tea stain is impossible to remove". I'm thinking of calling it tea patina maybe? The service and presentation was Fine, Almost Everything tasted delicious. That interesting Szechuan spice yummy umm. Moist pork shoulder with crunchy and chewy skin oh yes.. Lip numbing tofu squares pressing sweetly on my tongue! Save me! Take me back for more! Ok I'm getting carried away but it was a very good meal and worth 60 miles on the odometer. Almost all the dishes were perfect. The only complaints? The potsticker wrapper was a bit chewy. Also the Walnut Prawns were conspicuously short on walnuts and one son wanted more sweet sauce on them. I found them refreshingly not too sweet. Check out the pics. And visit my new gem in Pleasant Hill.

Best authentic Chinese food I've found since living in Hong Kong. Generally I get takeout so can't speak to service. Get the pea shoots, you won't regret it!

We love the food here. Probably the best Chinese food we've eaten. And we eat here almost any chance we get. However, the service when you eat in the restaurant is very very slow. The last 3-4 times we've eat at the restaurant, it's only one lady doing all the service and we waited for far too long. It's sad that a restaurant with such good food has terrible service. Will we eat here again, most likely because we love the food but it definitely makes us reconsider it.

Recommend soup Needless to say, most dishes medium spicy hot or hotter. Parking is limited, and diced at peak times. Nice atmosphere

We waited for 1hr + 30mins.for our food to be served (this is after multiple follow-ups with the not so nice guy and lady who works there.) Staff were not attentive in checking with costumers on how the food was, we were not given refill for the glass of water even though we did ask multiple times. I did ask for forks as we have seniors who don't know how to use chopsticks, after multiple follow ups and a long wait, the male server came and just threw the forks on the table making us feel like he's mad that we are a bother to him, major lack of costumer service. Staff always seems angry. It feels like they don't really want people dining in this restaurant and this for sure will be our last visit. No food is worth this kind of attitude, very RUDE. Hard to be in that kind of atmosphere.

The food here is good. I especially like that they use high-quality jasmine rice. Many Chinese restaurants use cheap rice and you can tell the difference. I got the Mongolian chicken. It's a bit bland compared to some of the places I go to. Yet, it was still good. I would definitely like to come here and have a sitdown dinner. That way I can try a few of the different dishes. Update... Well, I tried their Dry Cooked Green Beans and they were overcooked!!! They were overcooked and shriveled! Which is a shame... since this is one of my favorite dishes at other restaurants.

This review is mostly about the service if i could give negative star i honestly would. When i tell you the service here was slow trust me its VERY slow i mean we waited for an hour just to get our food like seriously and they don't even offer water unless you ask or check if we need anything and when you ask them for something they make you feel unwanted or they feel so annoyed. Like we have been here a couple of times and wishing it would get better but it gets worse every time and we are done giving them a chance this would be our last time going. They will even drop utensils and almost slamming it on our table just for asking how rude can you be. Food was great but the serving was getting smaller in portions every time we go and most of the time they forget to deliver some of what you ordered i mean if you can't remember all the order why don't you write it down. I don't recommend this place. If you want to have a nice dinner with the family find another place to eat cause you will have a terrible time here. You have been warned.

I haven't been here in over 8 yrs. Cousins invited us to dinner. They're regulars here. Service was cool. We had the seafood soup, Sichuan spicy crispy chicken, sautéed green pea sprouts, and a braised tofu beef stew clay pot dish and rice. The food was salty, but not overwhelmingly. The rice was not fresh. But all the dishes were really good and the best part was the company of course. Came to pick up some To-go and met the owner. I'm guessing she is. Really nice young lady. Great customer service. Did you know they open 7 days a week 365 days a year! They'll be open for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's! I have to respect the hustle. So I'm giving them 5 stars! We ordered the Chong Qing Style boneless Chicken, and the Beef stew clay pot with tofu. Both are really good and the pickled cabbage that looks like kimchi is delish too. Ordered the braised tofu and cod mustard green soup Togo. It was ok. It was really healthy. Probably won't get these two dishes again. We will be back often.

This is it!!! This is the best Chinese Food in the area. I've been to all the local spots Ming's, 3Brothers, Chef Choy,Dragon Springs, China Chef, Yans, Uncle Yu's all of they are all decent and have there own specialties but SICHUAN FORTUNE HOUSE for the win!!! Every single time it's cooked to perfection, The Chow Mein is always perfect, the salt and pepper fish is incredible, The Sichuan spicy boiled fish fillet is a gift of flavor to my taste buds!! I definitely recommend this place!!! It's also a small family run restaurant and super friendly and nice.

I often came to this restaurant previously many times, but the quality has dropped, so we don’t go anymore. The tan tan noodles barely have any ground pork, the dumplings are meh.., and the hot and sour soup is sometimes too vinegary or too spicy or something’s off. Also, the service is meh.. not too friendly.Disappointed... ?
