This place was great for a really long time, with interesting sub options and delicious ingredients.Went there today, and the sandwiches have shrunk, but are still $12 each, the bread tasted like styrofoam, and the sandwich was straight up hard. Ended up just eating the inside ingredients, which were ok.Sad to see one of the local gems go so far downhill.

Pleasantly surprised. We found this on Yelp. Originally we were looking for sandwiches, but noticed they had pizza. The pizza was freshly made. Fresh ingredients. My Mom loved it. We got the Chicken Garlic Supreme. Service was excellent. They were very helpful. It's a small quaint shop on the corner with a small parking in the back. I'm bookmarking this for next time I'm in the area.

So bummed about this place! It used to be SO GOOD (hence all the old 4+ star reviews) I don't know if it's new owner or management? But everything is so sub par. They used to get amazing quality bread, and now they don't even have sourdough rolls...just basic Safeway sandwich bread. They are always out of stock on chips and many other things. I'm not sure what's going on, but it's not worth it anymore! Better off checking out west coast sourdough on treat, or Lucia's in the Alhambra center.

I've ordered here from several times now, each time trying something different, and can say that overall have enjoyed every sandwich I've tried. One of my favs is definitely the French Dip on fire. It's not super spicy but has a nice kick from the peppers. I also enjoy the California club but substitute in the Dutch crunch.

It’s a shame the establishment is poorly run, really wanted to try it. I went in to order a sandwich just now and me and at least 3 other groups unceremoniously turned away because they were “short staffed”. I let the employee know we could wait and she said that’s just not going to happen, I’m closing right now and no more sandwiches, no more orders. Terrible customer service, not to mention a huge loss of business turning away paying customers by the dozens.

This is a hidden gem in Pleasant Hill! Very small little place, better for take out. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had! I didn't try the juices, but they looked great too! I'll be back for sure!
for the price of a 13 dollar sandwich, the sandwich was pretty small and flavor was overall ok. Wanted to love the place but wasn't impressed with the pastrami sandwich I got.
