I ordered a tri tip sandwich. It came out within a reasonable time but I ordered to go and didn't look at the sandwich until I got home. Soggy ol bread, nothing but the butt end of the meat of the tri tip it taste fine but it felt like a duck you.

Fantastic brisket and pork ribs! I’ve been trying out local BBQ spots around Concord and Walnut Creek, but Slow Hand BBQ in Pleasant Hill really blows the competition away. The meat is smoky, tender, and full of flavor. The brisket melts in your mouth, and the ribs have the perfect balance of seasoning and juiciness. The casual vibe and friendly service make it even better. A must-try spot if you’re craving real BBQ in the Bay Area!

I was pleasantly surprised especially since my taste for BBQ was destroyed by another spot I tried for the first time. I will visit again!

Really good food and good atmosphere. I lived in Oklahoma for a few years, I've had some good brisket before, I can say the brisket here ranks up there. Portion size of the meats are decent, but the quality of the meat and the portion sizes of the sides more than make up for it. Mac and cheese is the best. The chopped pork is good but wasn't my favorite, a bit too much vinegar.

Great food. Had the brisket, nice crust on it and juicy inside. Baby backs fell off the bone but weren't like mush. Tri tip was maybe a touch over done but had great flavor. Im a Mac and cheese guy and would come back just for the mac and cheese. The beans left a little to be desired for me but still good.

I saw signs for Chimay beer and asked for one. Must not have heard that they didnt have any because when our food got delivered no beer came and boss said they quit selling it. I asked him to pour me something similar and set my credit card on the table. He came back with a naked pig IPA and comped it.

Desert was bread pudding, key lime and a fresh blackberry cobbler. Key lime was great, the bread pudding was buttery and moist with a nice brandy flavor and the cobbler was good, maybe a little early in the season for blackberries as some of them were a bit bland.

Best place in the area for BBQ hands down. We had the brisket and the ribs and both were very tender and juicy. Meat fell off the bone so easily for the ribs! The Mac and cheese was nice and creamy. Fries were crispy. Must try!
