Best place in the area for BBQ hands down. We had the brisket and the ribs and both were very tender and juicy. Meat fell off the bone so easily for the ribs! The Mac and cheese was nice and creamy. Fries were crispy. Must try!

Not dine in, it's a order out for delivery. Nothing bad to say about this bbq establishment. If you love slow cooked and savory taste get you're rear to the front of the line of delicious flavor and variety. Nothing failed! from the hot links, tri-tip, ribs and my two stand out meats are the beef brisket and the corned beef my appetizer was the bacon covered jalapenos, they were grilled to perfection ? the trip was they used Hawaiian ?. It works well with the bbq! ya?

My sandwich was packed with beef. I ate half at the restaurant and the other half the next day at home. It was delicious. The fries were crispy and tasty. There is a ot of beer on tap.

I got my pit burger and the fries from this location but I noticed the burger is burnt but the fries are so crispy and that’s how I like it. Great location idea

Prompt service!

Noneofthis Matters

I ordered ribs and “baked beans.” The ribs tasted unseasoned, but were saved by the BBQ sauce. However, the “baked beans” were absolutely disgusting. They were Great Northern or Butter beans, in a sour, chunky, tomato sauce. I will not order from this store again.

Great local BBQ in Poet's Corner of Pleasant Hill. Delicious selection of BBQ sandwiches and plates with a selection of craft beers. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good for watching sports. Fast and friendly service in a family friendly atmosphere.

We had the brisket sandwich and the brisket nachos. Finding good southern brisket seems to be hard in the bay area, but Slow Hand has figured it out. We asked for it to be less lean and more juicy and it was delicious, the smoke flavor and tenderness was perfect.

Updating a previous review from a few years ago where I gave four stars. Food, service and vibe were perfect! Ordered online for pickup. 1/2 St. Louis ribs, 1/2 baby backs and hot link, with extra spicy sauce. Food was FABULOUS, very friendly service and the atmosphere on a Hot August Night was chill. Online ordering was seamless and the grub was DEE-LISH!

Sorry the photo was a little late, but the food was so good that we couldn't wait. Service was excellent, from a kind, friendly, engaging staff. Everything came out quick. Beers on tap were great too. Had a Hoppy Magee from Danville Brewing which was excellent. Perfection in a glass. Overall a wonderful visit to Slow Hand. Well worth a visit if you like BBQ and craft beer.
