They have a taco truck in the plaza in front of the pleasant hill bart. I went on a Tuesday night and got 5 tacos. They were so good and pretty quick too. I tried one of each meat, and they were all delicious. I will definitely be going back.

This your truck? It's blocking disabled pathways and refused to move (corner of Las Juntas and Del Hombre)/

I love the small business and if I can help by posting a pic I enjoy doing it. I love burritos but I like one that has a toasted tortilla and marinated meats. This definitely fits the bill on cliente and fair oaks. It's in the Valero parking lot. The owner was telling me the business is up and down. I ran into this place accidentally hungry for a burrito. I was going oeat pinoy food but couldn't ingest what I saw across the street from the Rene rose. Delicious burrito and happy to support this small business.

Delicious food, fast service. The quesabirrias are amazing but a bit greasy if you're looking for drier birria but definitely not as greasy as others. The tripa taco is a mosssst. We will be back

This place is bangin'. There's literally four places to get tacos in the surrounding two blocks but I always come back to La Guerita for one reason: their homemade corn tortilla tacos. If you have not had the distinct pleasure of having a homemade corn tortilla street taco, it blows store bought out of the damn water. Somehow more pliable and also more prone to soak up delicious taco juices, this place absolutely nails the style. It's sinaloa style, which means you get a dash of rich tomato sauce on every taco, but even alone they would be absolutely delicious. Their Al pastor is always delicious with great char and the right amount of fat, their carne asada is super flavorful (and awesome with their green salsa) and their cabeza is always super tender. Cannot rave enough. One caveat: their quesabirria, in my opinion, is *slightly* less flavorful than Sonora down the street (a little drier too), but it's also WAY less oily than Sonora's, so it's a better choice if you're not looking for a gut bomb. La Gueritas regular street tacos, however, blow Sonora's out of the water, so I'd definitely say go with LG if you're looking for a "lighter" taco truck experience (if that's a real thing haha). Overall it's a great taco place that has its own niche in this absolutely stacked section of Sunnyvale for Mexican food. I'll definitely be back again and again.

3.5 stars overall, but rounding up for their homemade corn tortillas! Tacos La Guerita is serving flavorful tacos out of their truck parked in front of the complex with the 7-11 in Sunnyvale. They weren't busy at 2:30pm on a Thursday, and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes. I tried:-Quesabirria Taco ($4?), Carne Asada Taco ($3), Al Pastor Taco ($3), Side of Consommé ($3) [yelp.com/user_local_phot…: I really enjoyed their homemade corn tortillas, which were soft and fluffy, with a nice crust on the outside. My favorite out of the three tacos was the al pastor, which was flavorful and had a hint of spice to it. The carne asada was very good, and I liked the sear on it. The quesabirria was also solid, but not as cheesy as other versions I've had. It was really good when dipped into the consommé; however, the consommé on its own was too salty for me, and I wouldn't pay $3 again to get it on the side.I'll be back for more tacos and their homemade tortillas. Their staff was super friendly and helpful- make sure to ask for their hot chili oil, which was SPICY and delicious! Masks were worn despite the mandate being lifted, and they had hand sanitizer. No seating area was available. Parking was ok to find at the time since there are spots in the plaza, and some limited street parking spots.

The food here was not bad! People will go nuts once they find out that this truck serves hand-pressed tortillas which is not common in the Bay. The al pastor and birria were pretty standard, but the cabeza was very well executed. Other trucks usually overcook it making the meat mushy, but this once still had a bite to it. I suggest chopping the birria to make it seem more tender. When it's just shredded, the long grain of the meat is chewy and feels dry. When chopping on the board a few times, it makes the birria seem more tender. Although the tacos here are more pricey than other trucks, I enjoyed the hand-pressed tortillas and cabeza.

The BEST QUESABIRRIAS IN SUNNYVALE!!! THE CONSOME IS FIRE!! I like mine slightly toasted, it's the delicious consome that tops this off! Highly recommend, the shrimp hand made quesadilla is delicious too!

My co-workers told me about this truck! It's right outside the 7-11 on the Fair Oaks road!! Really nice truck with great hospitality and great staff. They even tried to get me to speak spanish! I was ok... sort of hahaha. But they have decent burritos and they are known for there quesobirria tacos which were fantastic!!!The consumera?? (spelling) was even better than I thought it would be. They give you a lot! so don't waste it and throw it away! Take it home and make something with it or use it for something else, that's what I would do. The tacos are super good and no super greasy at all, so that was a plus. Come here and try the quesobirria tacos! 2 for $9 or 3 for $12, def a steal!

Husband and wife run from a customized food truck. Meat is delicious, best quality of all the taco places in the area. Each plate is about 10$. Can't find the same meat quality or portion size in any restaurant. They don't have to pay rent so they can spend more money on the food. Most chain restaurants don't serve beef because of cost. Usually see pork and chicken. For some reason past pandemic FairOaks and 101 in Sunnyvale seems to have turned into a taco hotspot. I don't normally eat tacos. Maybe 2-3 times a year if everything is closed and I have no choice. This place is different. The first thing that hits you when you open the foil wrapped plate is the aroma. Food never makes it home. Eat in the car or standing by the taco truck. Distinct. Eat while the aroma is still there. Contrast between slightly sour to slightly spicy. Very delicate flavors and textures with the hand made corn tortillas. Higher quality than tres portillos across the street. Handmade corn tortillas in the quesadillas and tacos. Quesobirria has mozzarella or jack cheese in it. Creamy, other places dont have the stringy cheesy texture. Biggest portion sizes of all the surrounding taquerias and food trucks. Soup portion is the biggest of all the others. Flavorful and not overly spicy. Almost like an Asian beef noodle soup base. Constant drive up business from locals who speak Spanish. Hidden under a tree.Birria torta: first thing that hits you is the smell. Slowly cooked beef in spices. Very filling avocado melted cheese large portion of beef. Tacos: hand made corn tortilla. Can get them individually or in a plate with added rice/beans. Comes with grilled onions. Melt in mouth texture. Taco plate comes with radishes and grilled jalapeños. Not spicy. 2 salsas; green is sour and red is little spicy. Quesadilla. Different. The cheese is fried into the tortilla not layered like a sandwich. Pick the meat and it is layered into the Quesadilla like a lasagna.

Excellent service. Very accommodating with the COVID situation. I ordered the octopus ranchero. It is delicious. Home made tortillas. Chips and salsa upon arrival. The chips are nice and warm as through they freshly came out of the oven.
