Check your order before you leave. These we're supposed to be 5 tacos but I made it into 4 because the order barely had any meat. The food is less than mediocre. I'm actually upset I waited in line for this.

(plain/cold food w hair, LONG wait time, sloppy prep) I ordered a super burrito and got a super COLD burrito! As i unwrapped the foil I found a huge hair, it took about 45 minutes to get my to go order so I didn't want to return it, I just didn't eat the part with the gross black nappy hair. All morning with a horrible stomach pain. I definitely don't recommend this place to anyone!

It's quite pricy. The burrito is small for market price. They have $1 taco Tuesday but only on some tacos, not all and they were not clear on the menu which one is $1. The meat is quite bland no flavor. They have several tables inside and they are pretty clean. The servers did great for cleaning up everything after customers left.

Absolutely delicious. Fresh chips and salsa carnitas burrito so flippin good. This place is the best around. They know how to cook. It's seasoned well and fully delicious. And fast. Ten stars.

The Concord Taqueria Los Gallos has always been consistently delicious ... but I didn't like my chile verde super burrito from the PLEASANT HILL location at all. The ratio throughout was good, but there was an overpowering flavor - either WAY TOO MUCH Mexican oregano or cilantro. It was almost inedible! I will probably try the Pleasant Hill location (on Contra Costa Blvd) one more time ... but if it's overpowered with that flavor again, I will never go there again. Please don't let me down next time PHill location, especially since you are open 24/7.

Very authentic Mexican food! Service is impeccable and I stumbled on this restaurant back in 2020 during the peak of Covid and even back then the food and service were on point. You truly get your money's worth here and coming here once will make you an automatic repeat customer. You can pay Apple Pay or by credit or debit but they give you a little discount for paying cash... just FYI.
Used to be my go to place for pozole. Ordered it for DoorDash delivery today and was disappointed in the quality. Got almost no hominy, pork was tough, and it included one big chunk of a bone (which probably explains the very little hominy - no room for it). No lime nor radishes were included. And lettuce was old. Will be looking for a new local Mexican place for pozole.
