I tried this place. Food was ok...got fried zucchini. It was not bad...the fried shrimp was ok. I wanted to try fried mushrooms. I will try this place again. It took a long time to get the to-go order....place needs alittle face lift...
I hadn’t heard of Tugboat until just this week reading an online story about the restaurant. It’s downright difficult to find a Fish & Chips eatery in the area. Living 25 minutes from their Pleasant Hill location is an issue but I decided to give it a go. I’ll definitely be back. After living near this place for 9yrs, I placed my order 15min before closing. I had the fish with zucchini and shrimp. I was truly pleased with everything. It was cooked perfectly and had a very clean taste and not oily. I will defineitly order from this establishment again.
