If you really want to have elevated Mexican food and a good drink or drinks. I would not hesitate to come back to Tzunun. I consider this place to be one of the top, if not the top Mexican restaurant in the bay. And that says a lot about me coming from San Diego. Because most Mexican restaurants here are just ok, I mean just OK. Ok, they are not that good. I'm glad I found this one.

Our server, Gabriel was really nice and hospitable. The food was really good and fresh. The ambiance was very mature and comforting and great for lunch with your friends or a romantic date night. Definitely a must to visit or revisit.

The food is superb, but to my taste it's too loud.

It was way WAY too loud in there! At one point we had to shout to hear each other. There weren't that many people in there as it was only 5:30 and it wasn't even 1/4 full, so it shouldn't have been that noisy. The food was good, not great. The margarita was great!

All pros, no cons. Tzunun is a great place to wear a collared shirt out to dinner, or go have a casual bite and drink. Their bartenders and cooks know what they're doing and the serving staff provide wonderful service.Small menu, but enough variety for a large party to all have a different experience. When you go, I recommend coming hungry and trying multiple items!

We had a late flight arrive in SFO and we were the only ones in the restaurant at 9:30 pm. We were thankful for the gracious service and great food. My 3rd time there and I'll be back.

We were sitting on time with a friendly smile and curtesy. We have ordered two Margaritas and have been very disappointed with quality. Too much ice, in a whiskey glass. We both decided not to drink more than one. Food was exceptionally delicious, with a large portion of salmon and sides. Will be back for sure

The mushroom tacos are incredible! We ate on the deck outside by the creek and it was perfect. Our waiter was great and let us hang out for a long time since there were tables available. Can't wait to go back!

WOW! THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC. THE FOOD IS THE BEST AND THE PRESENTATION IS EVEN BETTER. THE WAIT STAFF IS ATTENTIVE AND HELPFUL. BEEN THERE THREE TIMES NOW AND HAVE BEEN TRYING DIFFERENT ITEMS ON THE MENU. THIS TIME LOBSTER TACOS! OMG!!! I NEED TO GO BACK FOR A SECOND HELPING OF THIS! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. DEFINITELY 5 STARS IN EVERY WAY!

I've walked out of three restaurants two times in my life. Tzunun is now my third. Lackluster and cavernous dining room make for horrible acoustics. It is extremely loud and makes it difficult to have a conversation, even when sitting at a 2-person table. Main dishes took nearly an hour to arrive. My reservation was at 7:30pm, yet mains didn't arrive until 8:40. To top it off, the steak in one of them was raw, not medium-rare as requested. It has a light sear on the outside, with the inside being cool and raw. We were hungry and annoyed due to the long wait time at this point, so requested the check for our appetizer and two drinks. We paid and left. Our next stop was a local taqueria, where we should have gone to in the first place.

Great atmosphere but what really stands out is the food. Bold flavors, interesting dishes.

The service was outstanding! If you visit this restaurant, ask to be seated outside if you want a quiet dining experience and a great outdoor feel❤️ The food was good, love the tapas?

Food and service were excellent. We went for dinner. The restaurant is nicely decorated. However, the acoustics were unbearable. It was so loud we could barely have a conversation and my ears are still ringing the next morning. I hope they fix this issue. I will only eat outside from now on if I go back.

I stopped in here after my appointment. Let's just say that they must have found a sweet spot for their oysters TODAY! First time here and I enjoyed a Hibiscus Mojito and a couple of the $2 Happy Hour Oysters and they were absolutely delicious. So fresh! Served with pickled onion and sauce. It tastes like a Banh Mi without the bread. I will definitely come back to taste more of the menu.
